It’s actually plausible that your friend Rick just got the first eagle ever on the par 4 5th hole on the Scarecrow course at Gamble Sands!!! A 270 yard driveable 4, you can choose to go left safely or take on the forced carry. I have a simple rule,...

Later triple bogey’d a 120 yard par 3 without losing a ball. Because golf. 😂

Luke Kuechly says he knew it was time to retire from the NFL because he was no longer 100% mentally committed to hitting players at full force “I used to just go smack dudes and have no issues. And I would go hit a guy and I’m like, ‘Yeah, that didn’t really feel great.’ And so then, once you make the decision in your mind, I’m not all the way in it… like the last game of the year, I was like, ‘I’m done. I’m done’” “I just remember after that game, I was like, ‘Yeah, you don’t got it anymore. You don’t have it.’ I would've been fine if I physically slowed down. Can’t run as well, not as fast, maybe I’m not as physical. Maybe I don’t have the same fire. I would have been fine with that and I would have probably milked it out a little bit more” “Once I knew it was my head, mentally, it’s either yes or no. If you slow down, physically, you can still play football hard, play it fast and play with great effort. But once I knew mentally, it’s not any of that, I couldn’t rationalize. I can’t play as hard as I want to. My effort’s not going to be there. I can’t be as physical. It’s not fair to the guys on the team, and it’s not fair to the coaches, and it’s not fair to the fans and myself and my family for me to go out there at mentally 75%’” “If I got to thump a guard and push a guy back to Shaq to make a play, and I’m like, ‘Eh,’ and I get widened, and then the tackle is really hard on Shaq. That’s not fair to Shaq. For me to know, especially mentally, the reason why I’m not stuffing that guy. I didn’t take him on, I didn’t hit him how I should've. I couldn’t do that”

Ryan Fox says the way he played the final hole to win The Open with a birdie was the best hole he’s ever played in his life. He also said he told his caddie on the tee he was going to take it on and try to win the tournament right there: “Yeah, definitely the first part. I mean, I hit two shots exactly how I wanted to hit them. I didn't feel anything for the putt; everything was shaking that much. I was just happy to hit it somewhat near the hole, and to see it go in was incredible. “I did say to my caddie, Dean, on the tee that we were going to take it on, that I was going to try to win the tournament, and I'd live with the consequences if I stuffed it up. To go out there and execute, that drive is not a very comfortable tee shot, obviously, and to hit it in the fairway and give myself a chance was huge. “Then I landed on a good number. I think I had 160 metres to the hole. The breeze was a little down off the left. Obviously everything is a bit jammed up there, so it was just a solid 9, and I hit it exactly where I wanted to hit it. I think I screamed to it, "Please be good," in the air, and it was. “To cap it off with a putt -- everyone practises on the green, I guess, you've got to a putt to win a major championship, to win The Open. It's not like that in real life. It's not a very comfortable feeling. It's certainly very enjoyable when you see it go in.” What a fantastic attitude and a great example of why Ryan is now the Champion Golfer of The Year. He knows how to get the job done 👊 🇳🇿 Ryan Fox The Open

🗣️ Immediate reaction from LIV Golf UK presented by JCB champion, Lucas Herbert: JERRY: I don't know where to begin. I don't know what I just saw. Was there a consistent theme to the internal dialogue that led to this kind of performance this week? What were you thinking? HERBERT: I don't know. I think last week gave me a lot of confidence that I can mix it with the best guys. Just wanted to really carry that into this week the best I could. I think I got out of my own way the first two rounds and I started thinking about it yesterday. Yeah, it was just good to play like that today when I was being pushed by two of the best players in the world. JERRY: I remember vividly following you when you won your first event on the PGA TOUR in Bermuda. On that final hole, you were visibly nervous on your second shot. You looked like you were immune to nerves all week long. How does that come about? HERBERT: I think it was a bit of a trick in hiding it. I was definitely feeling it out there. I can only do what I can do. I was able to take care of what I needed to do today pretty well to get me over the line. I knew it wasn't going to be a day where even par, 1-under was going to get it done for me. I knew I had to go out there and get it. Just kept pushing myself the whole way, and here we are JERRY: Did you ever hit some shots, notably the bunker shot in addition to so many others this week, where you just shook your head, like, I can't believe how good this is going? HERBERT: There's definitely a lot of shots -- I can think of the first shot on 10, I kind of pull one, and you're asking for it to get a good lie in the hay, lands in the rough and kicks all the way down there, you get on the green and make eagle. It was one of those weeks, just when you needed a good break. I think of the 6th hole today up the hill, the par-5, it finishes half a foot inside the short stuff and I can get it greenside. I'm looking at the lie, a foot right of that, and it could have been a load of trouble. I played great this week, but also, I got a lot of good breaks, which is really nice. It's good to take advantage of those when they come. #LIVGolfUK | Ripper GC

【📢Space: อันโดรเมด้า ชุน dunknatachai 】 #จุงดัง #JoongDunk #จุงอาเชน #dunknatachai 🐶we still get to see each other through social media all the time but i just want everyone not to worry. i want everyone to believe — believe in yourselves and also believe in us *JoongDunk — that one day there will definitely be a day that belongs to us : JoongDunk has a chance to have a fanco concert 🐶 actually i believe there will be, but maybe not right now. i think it will happen and if they can arrange the schedule, if they can manage things then… i’ll say this: schedule life schedule is the most important thing for us right now 🐶if there is a schedule where we can rehearse for a concert—really—i don’t want anyone to rush. i want everyone… i mean i understand, you want it to happen. but in the end, as for me as Joong—when i do a show, i’m very serious. i don’t want… i don’t like doing shows that are like… honestly, i don’t really—it’s not that i can’t do it, but i don’t like just singing a song and then moving on. you get it? you get it? i feel that if we do a show, it must have this and that, movements, moments, stories that connect together. if it’s going to be a real fancon, then rehearsals are very important 🐶so i just want us to have the time to rehearse until we are truly ready. that way, i would want to perform more. because. do you believe it? even though you guys are excited—my fans, you’re excited, right? about when there will be a fancon, wanting to see the shows and all that. do you believe it? me, as an actor, my only duty is to keep developing myself today, to be ready for the day it comes 🐶because suddenly, let’s say suddenly, two months from now, there could be a fancon. and i wouldn’t even know. “oh, it’s here already? how many days do i have to rehearse? 14 days? 7 days? 5 days? can i handle it? i must handle it. in the end, i must handle it.” but in the end, i want it to turn out the best, and the best for me, the best for us 🐶but i’ve already thought out the show! wait and see i’ve been waiting for years. i’ve thought about it all—the songs, the show, everything. but for now, it’s just a structure in my head, imagining how it could be. i’ve pictured it. i could already make 3–4 fancons from what’s in my head …. there are many themes—like which theme, this one, that one. right now i have about 3 themes. and if it still doesn’t happen yet, i’ll think up 3–4–5 more themes. it has to happen already! i keep thinking. and when the time really comes, when the higher-ups ask what i want, i’ll already have the vision. i’ll be able to show them: “this is what i thought. what do you think?” .. it’s very simple. it’s just that—i believe it’s not about being the fastest, it’s about the most suitable time. let’s wait for that moment

Bam Adebayo GOES IN on the critics that says his 83 point game performance is unethical: "For the couch coaches, I mean, if you're in my shoes and you have, first of all, y'all are blaming me. You should be blaming the head coach. Get that first. I was not the one letting me go one-on-one the whole game until I had 70, and then you started to send a double. At that point, I got 70 with, like, what? nine minutes left to go in the game you think i'm not going for it like like and that's the thing that's crazy when they talk about the unethical part of the basketball i'm like if i have 70 points with 9 minutes to go Who would just be like, you know, coach, just take me out. Yeah, right. Anybody in my shoes with nine minutes left? Okay. A minute? All right. Nine? Yeah, I'm going for it. You can't be mad at that. If you are mad, I don't care because a lot of people, they're upset because if they did play, they never had a chance to get that close to chasing greatness. And then if you get that close to chasing greatness, that's the point of chasing it so you can surpass it. And some of the people have never played basketball. So like if you've been in the backyard and you and a couple of your homies have been playing 21 and you got 19. You're not going to get an easy look off. And four, they're going to talk about the free throws. It's not like I shoot 15 free throws a game. It's not like I average 10 free throws a game. You can watch the film. I was legitimately getting fouled every time. So I went to the free throw line."
