🇨🇳 It’s almost comical how Western media built an entire mythology about “China polluting the planet,” while the country that manufactures over 30% of global industrial output is now running the world’s largest renewable energy system. Hydro, solar, wind, ultra-high-voltage transmission, nationwide EV adoption, carbon trading, climate resilience planning... — all scaled in a way no Western state has achieved since the Industrial Revolution. And here’s the part people pretend not to see: The West got rich by burning the planet Then outsourced the pollution Then moralized about “green responsibility” Then blamed the Global South for wanting the same living standards. China didn’t play that game. It built an industrial civilization and decarbonized at the same time — something every Western economist swore was “impossible.” Turns out the impossible just needed political will, long-term planning, and the absence of lobbyists writing the energy policy. The irony? The countries that spent decades lecturing China about the environment can’t even approve a wind farm without a culture war, a lawsuit, and a congressional meltdown. Meanwhile, China is laying down clean grids, electrifying transport, and building climate systems that actually match the scale of the 21st century. One side talks about saving the planet. The other side is quietly building the infrastructure for it. History will remember the difference.show more

Who really fueled the planet? ⛽️ 117 years of CO₂ emissions reveal a fascinating story about industry, power, and global transformation. This video shows which countries emitted the most CO₂ since the early 1900s and how the balance of power shifted over time. The evolution is remarkable: 🌍 Early 1900s: Western industrial nations dominate global emissions as factories, railroads, and steel reshape the world. 🇺🇸 Mid-20th century: The United States becomes the planet’s economic and industrial engine. 🚀 Recent decades: Asia rises rapidly. China and India reshape the global energy map as their economies accelerate. But this story isn’t just about pollution. It’s about who built the modern world, who powered the factories, the cities, the infrastructure, and the global economy we rely on today. And now a new question emerges: Who will power the future? ⚡ Energy transition 🌏 Economic growth 📈 Global responsibility The next chapter is being written right now.

🇺🇸🇨🇳 Trump went to Davos mock China's wind power — and Davos spent the rest of the day fact-checking him in real time. He called wind energy a “green scam.” Data replied: China is the world’s largest producer and user of wind power. He bragged about “energy dominance.” Al Gore quietly explained that the US is clinging to a depreciating fossil asset, while China is scaling an appreciating one. He talked about “rivals.” Brazil, Europe, and even US experts described China as the partner that stabilizes markets, reduces tensions, and drives growth. He warned about “the AI race.” Entrepreneurs pointed out the obvious: you can’t win an AI race powered by oil against a country powered by renewable energy. By January 2026, over 60% of China’s installed capacity was non-fossil. That’s not a slogan, it’s an infrastructure fact. Empires posture. Manufacturers transition. And the future follows the ones who actually build.

🇨🇳 China just turned waste cold from LNG regasification into a year-round salmon farm — producing 8,000+ tons annually in a province that isn’t even “cold-water fish country.” Instead of dumping excess cold energy into the sea, engineers redirect it to keep water at a perfect 16°C. No magic. No slogans. Just systems thinking. The results: • 30% lower energy use • Zero seasonal shutdowns • A self-propelled salmon-farming vessel already in operation • An entire cold-chain ecology built from what others call “waste” And here’s the irony: The civilisation accused of being “industrial and polluting” is quietly reinventing climate-smart aquaculture, while many Western politicians are still debating whether climate change even exists. People forget what China’s so-called “agrarian civilisation” really is: it never worshipped nature; it worked with it. Even in the AI era, that instinct survives turn every constraint into a system, every waste stream into new life. A 5,000-year-old logic, expressed in a 2026 salmon farm. And the funniest part? The colonial parrots screech “China is eating all the world’s fish!” Meanwhile China’s aquaculture feeds 1.4 billion people, stabilises global seafood prices, and still exports to the same countries shouting the loudest. The West overfished its own waters into collapse. China built ecosystems. One blames; the other produces. So tell me again — who’s really eating all the fish? 🤣🐟

🇺🇸🇨🇳 Here’s the funny thing about these “think tanks”: they think the world still runs on 1991 logic while living in 2026 reality. Only in Washington can a group of overpaid analysts watch America: • threaten to buy Greenland, • turn Canada into the “51st state,” • kidnap Venezuela’s president, • sanction half the planet, • deploy federal troops on its own citizens, • and quietly panic about losing its hegemony… …and somehow conclude that China is the one facing “massive costs” for taking back its own territory. The delusion is almost poetic. These clowns still believe in a world where “democracies” move as one, when even NATO countries now whisper that the US is their biggest strategic risk, not Russia, not China. Trump slapped 20% tariffs on his own allies and they still dare fantasize about a united sanctions front? Please. China is the largest trading partner of 157 countries. China is the spine of global supply chains. China produces over 30% of the world’s total manufacturing output. Who exactly will “punish” China? Spain? Australia? A Europe that can’t even agree on farm subsidies? A United States that can’t even produce its own antibiotics? As for war? another joke. The West dreams of “costs” for China as if this were 2003 Iraq. But if a conflict ever became prolonged, China is the only nation on Earth capable of out-producing everyone combined. The country that builds cities in weeks versus the one that can’t build a bridge without a congressional hearing? And yet these same think tanks look at all of this, and still churn out PowerPoints about “China paying a heavy price.” No, the only people paying a heavy price are those still living in outdated fantasies of Western dominance.

Western China-watchers love calling China the climate villain while writing their complaints from devices that had their carbon footprint offshored to China. China is the factory of the world, it manufactures much of what the planet uses. Yet its per capita CO₂ emissions are still far lower than America’s (~9.1 t vs ~13.6 t per person). That’s an astonishing feat by itself. Even more impressive: China’s emissions have now been flat or falling for 21 straight months (since March 2024), with a slight decline in full-year 2025 — all while its economy and exports kept growing. How? By leading the planet in clean-energy deployment at a scale no one else comes close to: record solar + wind builds, massive nuclear expansion, and fusion breakthroughs. The same countries that powered their own industrial revolutions with dirty coal, and offshored their own pollution, now lecture China for cleaning up faster than they ever did. They wouldn’t have cared if China polluted even more than they do today, as long as it stayed in its place as a simple order-taker: quietly making whatever the West demanded and slapping Western brands on it. But the moment China started innovating on its own and building its own world-class brands in EVs, solar, batteries, high-speed rail, phones and more, that’s when the narrative flipped. Suddenly they couldn’t accept what China had become. It was never really about the climate. It was always about China out-competing and out-innovating them. And that’s something they absolutely cannot stand. Watch the full show with Carl Zha here:

🇨🇳 Elon Musk gets it right About China: “The Chinese people simply view China’s ascendancy as resuming its normal place in history, the most powerful country on Earth.” The man builds things for a living, so he deals in engineering realities. He has also said that China has the deepest pool of innovative talent in human history, past and present, and that its space program is “far more advanced than most people realise.” Living here in China, I see exactly what he means and he was right. For most of recorded history China was the world’s leading civilisation: gunpowder, paper, the compass, printing, vast trade networks and advanced agriculture that fed populations Europe could not match. It sat at the centre of the global economy for centuries. Then came the brutal interruption. The Century of Humiliation: opium wars, unequal treaties, foreign powers carving up the country and a Japanese invasion that killed tens of millions. China was knocked back hard, exploited, fragmented and deliberately kept weak by powers that feared a strong unified nation. That was never going to be permanent. Under the CPC since 1949 and especially through reform and opening up, China has methodically rebuilt. Nearly 800 million people lifted out of poverty. The world’s most extensive high-speed rail network, the largest 5G infrastructure, the biggest manufacturing base on the planet and now a lead in EVs, batteries and high-tech supply chains, with AI and space pushing the frontier. This is not some sudden “rise” the way Western media frames it. It is restoration: civilisational continuity meeting modern execution at scale. The talent, discipline and long-term thinking are visible on the streets, where the infrastructure makes Western capitals look outdated and the momentum is structural, not temporary. Musk sees through the denial because he works with Chinese engineers and Chinese supply chains every day. The West loves to frame China as a new disruptor or a threat. Which is the wrong lens to view China through. This is history correcting course after a painful detour, and a confident China advancing its interests serves a multipolar world far better than containment ever will. How much longer until more people outside China accept what is already obvious on the ground here? It all started back then. The future is being built now, and not by the ones building tariff walls.

China has achieved a landmark breakthrough in advanced manufacturing with the launch of its largest single-line 48K large-tow carbon fiber facility in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. This is not the same as China’s T1200 ultra-high-strength carbon fiber breakthrough. T1200 is the high-end blade: extreme strength, aerospace-grade, strategic materials. 48K large-tow carbon fiber is the industrial skeleton: large-scale, lower-cost, mass application for wind power, EV lightweighting, rail, marine engineering, and advanced manufacturing. One breaks the ceiling. The other builds the floor. That is how an industrial system becomes impossible to contain.

BYD just did something the West kept calling “impossible”: 10% → 97% in 9 minutes. In winter. On a mass-produced car. While Western consumers complain EVs charge too slow, China quietly rebuilt the entire charging ecosystem, 20,000 flash-stations by year’s end, a charger every 100 km, and batteries so advanced Tesla is literally buying from BYD. The narrative of “China only copies” collapsed the moment China, started innovating faster than the West can explain. This is not a product upgrade, but a paradigm shift: fast charging and long range are no longer a trade-off. The EV future will be written by the country that engineers the infrastructure, not the one that tweets about it.

🇨🇳 China’s H-20 isn’t even officially unveiled, yet Western defense analysts are already treating it like a strategic earthquake. Not because of what’s shown, but because of what isn’t shown. A clean-sheet stealth bomber, intercontinental range, digital combat ecosystem, and an industrial base that can actually mass-produce it. The US keeps talking about “rules-based order.” China is quietly building the machines that will define the next strategic order. The real headline isn’t the H-20 itself. It’s this: China no longer thinks regionally, and the world no longer gets to think of China regionally.

The funniest part of the Hormuz panic? Western pundits still think China is the country most hurt by an Iran oil shock. Reality in 2026: • China’s NEV penetration is 50%+, • EVs already make up 68% of the NEV fleet, • 44 million+ NEVs on the road, • Hybrid owners say the price spike costs them 30 RMB — “just a few cups of milk tea.” Meanwhile in the US and UK: • Gas prices hit the highest levels since 2024, • Governors and PMs warn of “household impact,” • Americans openly say rising fuel costs “hurt,” • Politicians blame Trump’s war for the bill. China spent a decade building energy resilience. The West spent a decade mocking China for doing it. Now Iran closes Hormuz, and the outcome is simple: China adapts. The West panics. So before lecturing China about “dependence on Middle Eastern oil,” maybe look at who’s lining up at gas stations, and who’s quietly charging their cars at home, drinking the milk tea that costs more than their fuel increase.

$Elon Musk just exposed the most catastrophic energy blindspot in the entire AI arms race. The West is still debating which twigs to burn. China is capturing the sun. Musk: “People just don’t understand how solar is everything. Compared to the sun, all other energy sources are like cavemen throwing some twigs into a fire.” Every natural gas plant. Every nuclear reactor. Every experimental fusion project being debated in Washington right now. Twigs. Musk: “We have a giant free fusion reactor that shows up every day. It’s farcical for us to create little fusion reactors.” And then he gave the most clarifying statistic in the entire energy debate. Musk: “The sun is over 99.8% of all mass in the solar system. Jupiter is around 0.1%. So even if you burnt Jupiter, the energy produced by the sun would still round up to 100%.” Musk: “And then if you teleported three more Jupiters into our solar system and burnt them too, it would still round up.” The sun is not an energy source. It is the only energy source. Everything else is rounding error. China already knows this. While American tech executives beg for permits to build natural gas plants, China crossed 1,000 gigawatts of installed solar capacity in 2025. More than the rest of the world combined. They are not holding summits about it. They are not commissioning reports about it. They are building it. Harvesting the free fusion reactor that arrives every morning at zero cost and feeding it directly into their AI data centers. The AI race is not an algorithm race. It is an electro-industrial race. You cannot build superintelligence without infinite compute. You cannot have infinite compute without infinite energy. And right now, the United States is losing the energy war while holding committee meetings about which twigs to burn next. China built the energy-compute flywheel. Cheap, scalable, infinite solar power feeding AI models at a fraction of the cost. Compounding every single day. The nation that captures the sun’s output will hold a permanent monopoly on global intelligence. The nation that doesn’t will spend the next decade trying to understand how it lost. Everyone else gets left holding the twigs.$

🇨🇳 At the Shanghai Auto Show, China’s EV industry is thriving — yet Western media still frames it as a “response” to Tesla, as if China is eternally chasing. In reality, Chinese automakers surpassed Tesla years ago — and never looked back. Today, it’s the West that must “respond” to China. The real story? China’s EV dominance isn’t about stealing designs. It’s about vision, sacrifice, and ruthless competition: • Chinese firms knew they couldn’t beat legacy Western brands in gas cars. • So they bet early and hard on green energy, building the future from scratch. • Meanwhile, the West clung to their fading empires of oil and nostalgia. China didn’t “steal” a market or a technology. China created the future the West was too afraid to build. #ChinaEV #ShanghaiAutoShow #NewEnergy

Beijing has spent years fortifying its alternative energy infrastructure and strategic reserves, building a manufacturing sector that simply outpaces America's. Meanwhile the U.S. wrestles with ballooning debt and a reserve currency slowly losing its shine. The part that should worry Brussels most? Europe's agonizingly slow consensus building means that if an emergency economic decoupling ever hits, the West will be rebuilding its industrial capacity years too late. Soumaya Keynes

Top news in China. Completely unreported in American media. If you haven’t read my article about the western media bias, it is a warning to the media that the fear mongering, negative-obsessive stories they keep running about China is harming global security. That my story has been ignored is an embarrassing display of bias and hubris.

China's renewable expansion receives endless Western applause. Its coal expansion, however, gets far less attention. At the start of 2026, China had 1,207 operating coal-fired power stations. In 2025 alone, it added 78 GW of coal capacity, the most in a decade, and began building another 83 GW, with a record 161 GW of projects either proposed or revived. China consumed more than 4.9 billion tons of coal during 2025 -- which is 56% of the global total. One country burned more coal than the rest of the world combined -- and green activists applaud it. China is building wind and solar, yes, but it is not gambling its industrial economy on intermittent power. AI is the next industrial age, but it requires colossal quantities of dependable electricity. China is securing this mainly via coal, gas and nuclear. Meanwhile, Net Zero governments are closing reliable power stations, raising energy costs and driving industry east. Nations that continue sacrificing power on the altar of Net Zero will not lead the AI revolution. They will watch the future being built elsewhere.

In a speech commemorating former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, Xi said: “In the late spring and early summer of 1989, a severe political disturbance took place in China.” The funniest myth is that “Tiananmen Square in 1989” is somehow “unspeakable” in China. It is spoken about. What Western anti-China discourse cannot tolerate is that China discusses its own history without adopting the political script the West wrote for it. If Beijing uses its own historical framing, that is called “censorship.” If Western institutions impose theirs, that is called “history.” There’s the trick. They do not demand that China remember 1989. They demand that China remember it in a way useful to them. China’s refusal to surrender narrative sovereignty is then repackaged as proof that the subject is “taboo.” The event is not the real taboo. China refusing to narrate itself through Western political needs is.

Global Warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change — Which Lie Are We Paying for Today?” When I was a kid, it was global cooling. Then it was global warming. Now it’s just “climate change.” We were told: 🌎 Ice caps gone by 2000 🌎 Cities underwater 🌎 Humanity extinct Decades later — we are still here while spending TRILLIONS fighting “climate change.” Taxes are higher. Energy is unaffordable. Freedom is shrinking. And the climate? Hasn’t changed. If this was really about saving the planet, would the elites be: Buying oceanfront mansions? Flying private jets to “climate summits”? Cashing in on carbon credits? This isn’t about saving the planet. It’s about controlling the people —and making the right people rich. President Trump was right. This is the climate hoax of our time.
