Aleem Khan purchased 300 acres of land on the Ravi riverbed, where construction is strictly illegal. He pressed Imran Khan to legalize it so he could build, but Imran Khan refused, creating tension between them. Imran Khan stated that Aleem Khan was trying to do exactly what PMLN and PPP have always done: legalize corruption once in power. Today, that same land has been handed over to Aleem Khan by PMLN, and a Park view housing society has been built on it. Now, with floods devastating the area, people’s homes and properties have been destroyed.
