This is why it’s going to take a VERY long time for our USMNT to get to be at the level of the world’s best. I mean look at the footwork from Romero of Argentina in a semifinal match for the World Cup. Under this pressure, a CENTRAL DEFENDER pulls off this dribble to get himself out of trouble …pulling it out of his own ass. It will be a long time before we pull off creating a defender of this caliber able to do this with all the weight on their shoulders as they try and play it out of the back.

Sure I agree the Zavier Thomas pick gives off Velus Jones PTSD. Sure a 3rd pick on a TE when you have Loveland & Kmet was a head scratcher. Sure Ryan Poles hasn’t drafted well in the 3rd rd. And Sure he goes rogue with picks like Rueben Hypollite & Zavion Thomas who some feel would be 7th rd picks or undrafted players. However HC Ben Johnson & Antwaan Randle El sure knows how to coach up their WRs & pass catchers & Ben definitely knows how to put them in great positions based on their skill sets. I don’t see the Thomas pick as being the “Velus Jones experiment” all over again. Thomas can be the Olamide Zaccheaus/Khalif Raymond of this offense eventually & boost the speed of our returners. We have an elite play caller at HC, upgraded tremendously at qb, way more offensive firepower, & better pass protection. All those things allow Thomas to play a gadget-esque role, be moved all over the formation & use his speed knowing it’s likely if he gets open the QB will have the time & arm to hit him deep. I may have wanted more defensive line additions but I’m uber-excited about the offensive possibilities going into yr 2 of Ben Johnson’s offense with added firepower at WR/TE & the C position re-solidified. #DABEARS #NFLDRAFT

New Restaurant Next: The McDonald's two-window setup (cash/present) has been a core foundation of our drive-thru for probably over 40 years. It looks like it may be changing. The new design is shifting to a one-window setup with a pull-forward window (with conveyor belt, see post below). New LED signage can direct cars to which window their order will be at. UNDOCUMENTED PBE CHANGE: THEY REMOVED DFT + CLEAVER STACKING ENTIRELY LMAO First off, this was a completely broken interaction and thank god Riot removed it, there was no way Smolder could be balanced with it in the game. This removal in combination with the nerfs he just got today will make him slightly worse than he was before DFT was introduced, which is probably a good place for him to be. Part of the reason why Smolder's winrate went up so much is that people started building correctly on him - Sorcery and Inspiration with ER + Cleaver or Hubris - instead of the shitty Fleet + ER + Shojin + RFC build that was most popular. Since people are (probably) keep building the right way, this winrate boost due to people building correctly is gonna stay while the actual power in his kit gets stripped away. Basically it turns out the current meta Smolder build was ALREADY HIS BEST BUILD before the broken cleaver interaction was introduced (and also I was already running it).
