I wonder if the war on tobacco has ANYTHING to do with the newest discoveries of the benefits of nicotine. So far, they have linked health benefits to 3mg nicotine patches only. But, as things develop, it’ll be interesting to see what other sources of nicotine can actually save lives, or reduce infectious diseases.

Exaggerated, in part, for humor’s sake but otherwise true. I lived through it. Simultaneously, my aunt would rocket a car load of loose bouncing kids around town driving with her cigarette clutching hand while other rested a tall gin and tonic on the driver’s side window opening. What seatbelts? What airbags? What else other than the basic equipment required to lunge and occasionally stop?

I miss those days. And she is smokin Hot!
