Why does nobody point out that they signed up to the rules 13 years ago and they havenโt been adjusted for normal inflation let alone the inflation that weโve seen in wages in football caused by the teams who benefit from the rules being in place

๐ #LigaMX #Tigres #Rayados #SergioRamos

Stop spending so much on wages then?

To get your revenue up you need to do well on the pitch, to do well on the pitch you need quality players. To get quality players you need to pay good wages. It's a glass ceiling that benefits 6 clubs #avfc

The clubs that are most insistent on adherence to financial compliance now are the same clubs that benefited and gained advantage from the lack of adequate financial in the early years of the Premier League. The so called โBig Sixโ want the draw bridge pulled up for others.

What a load of bollocks - Take United for example, 1b in debt, stadium falling apart, staff being let go left and right, finishing 16th? Regardless of 'wages to turnover ratio' - Villa are totally debt free, how is this fair?? Don't get me started on 115 charges City.

All the clubs who established high turnover aka the big 6 all happy keep these rules because it keeps them at top of food chain . The rules are outdated . It was supposed to stop clubs going under not keep clubs from competing against others !

Because Villa massively overspend on wages. They have to get the wage bill down asap. Having a 96% wages to turnover ratio is just mental!

deluded. they have spent ยฃ900m since promotion. their wage bill is 92 per cent of their revenue. they can't generate enough revenue to carry on as they are. simple really. and they have won nothing for 29 years

Whoโs that other fan? Absolutely clueless! The rules are established to keep clubs at the top - the rules need ripping up otherwise the same cartel clubs will rule the roost

Simple economics. Who would have thought bringing in Rashford, Malen & Asensio on big wages when their wage to turnover was already the highest in the league.
