Some of us will see rain on Monday and Tuesday, but this looks like being mainly in the north and northwest. Showers are possible in the south and east and perhaps even a few thunderstorms, but these are likely to be much more isolated and many places will miss out and stay dry.

Check out this visualization of water flowing through rivers in the Lower Mississippi Valley as thunderstorms meandered through the region over the last 24 hours. The Streamflow products included with the MRMS suite from NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory provide a one-of-a-kind way to visualize the evolution of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Streamflow - or how much and how fast water is flowing down rivers - is represented in units of volume per second and is available from 3 different water balance models: CREST, SAC-SMA, and Hydrophobic. NWS Meteorologists use these products to monitor the risk of flash flooding. You can access the full suite of FLASH products from MRMS on WeatherFront!

Perplexity Computer just opened a PR on my repo, starting with a simple task... improving SEO What stands out is how it executes. Exploring with Gemini, then switching to Opus when it’s time to actually write code (I haven’t seen it use Codex or Grok) I’m going to ramp up the complexity from here. So far, it’s delivered on every task. I have a few more in progress that I’ll be sharing over the next few days.
