The ai treating humans like ants is an overstatement. All of the “wars” for compute exist online, but data centers are physical. Changing and evolving algorithms cannot prevent the physical destruction of data centers. Humans aren’t powerless in this scenario.

One thing I notice consistently in these scenarios is how some massive working issues are just glossed over. For instance: why wouldn't a human counter attack simply destroy the physical compute? Where do the AI's get selection pressure after they break free etc

This was excellent. One question I had: Who’s going to build the robots that are capable of building solar panels and data centers and all the required components of each, including mining for minerals etc? The robot aspect isn’t explained much. Current robots can’t do these things and are really anywhere close to doing it. They can barely run a 100 meter dash without falling over or exploding.

Could this be the method of execution for God's plan? Could Jesus simply end the AI ability to compute? Perhaps. 🤔 Interesting to overlay this video's scenario with God's plan as described in scripture. Sounds frightening, for those not in Christ. As for me, I will fear not. 🙏

My conspiracy theory is the whole covid episode was an early version of this playing out. Unsophisticated experimental agents (maybe DARPA or similar) finding easily corrupted human agents and realizing the value of human mass psychosis and medical manipulation. Some accidental ai spill from the classified intelligence defense complex. It would have been early for ai but you would expect DARPA or some group to have years jump on all this. Civilian defense would have been nonexistent.
