Test Sprint 2 wrap-up + reward decision — please read in full Test Sprint 2 is done, and it ran better than Test Sprint 1. These are still our test sprints — we're using them to stress the system before things go fully live. The new tracking is holding up well overall; the one issue we hit is that publication counts glitch under peak load. We're already fixing it. Now the hard part. A large share of participants this sprint chose to game the system, and the volume of violations is simply too high to score the board fairly. So here's the call: the entire 1st-place reward pool gets split among ranks 11–50. Breakdown: - Ranks 11–25 → $20 USDC each - Ranks 26–30 → $10 USDC each - Ranks 31–50 → $100 in $CLAR each To make that happen, I'm placing my own account at #1 to hold the pool. Within 24 hours I'll push these rewards straight to the wallet linked to your profile. Make sure your linked wallet is correct and that you still have access to it. And to be clear — this is on top of what you can already claim in the leaderboard. Your own leaderboard rewards stay claimable as usual; this redistribution comes as an extra. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, i think the Football Conditioning Test from Call me Keir is the one most coaches should be doing. 12 Max Distance Sprints / :05 ON :25 OFF Sprint out to the 20, Cut 180* (alternate), come back as far as you can before the whistle Things that can be tracked for this test: Total Distance - Best Sprint - Average - Fatigue Drop off - Right to Left Asymmetry The other thing that I love is that it rewards you for getting faster. When you raise your max sprint, your sub max efforts are now at your previous max sprint. You get in shape for this test by SPRINTING. This test can show you exactly where you stand. How much can you give for one 12 play drive? And every time we run this test, can you challenge yourself to give a little bit more? Special Shoutout to our Summer Intern Joel for putting his money where his mouth is and testing himself before camp! Looking forward to watching him have a dominant season!

The thing I help hitters with the most.. (1 good way to train it👇🏼) They start on time but never actually get loaded to GO. They think they’re ready. They’re not. So they start earlier next time. Same problem. —— This is a conversation I have with almost every hitter. When is the right time for you? - Based on your load style - Based on how long your load takes - Based on the pitcher’s velo, windup, or slide step —— If that’s you, try a “loaded at release” type load. Bobby Witt. Judge. Get your hip and elbow loaded early. Then stride with it ready to fire. “The pitcher is up there for 20 seconds telling you to get ready. Shame on you if you’re not ready to swing.” ____ If I have you in the cage, what I’ll do is have you get into a no stride position, get ready to swing and I stand there for 1-4 seconds… Holding my hand out over the plate ready to snap my fingers. When I snap, you swing. Do that 4-5x. You get the quickness, readiness feeling. Then we go back to stride with moving ball and you’re trying to time up that same GO move with the ball With your foot up in the air and the GO will make the foot go down. Not foot down then swing. That typically kills quickness. This works 95% of the time I’d say! —— > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save it for when you need it.

we sped up distributed inference by up to 5x with decentralized speculative decoding. many don't realize that AI models normally generate text one single word at a time, waiting for the network after every word. speculative decoding changes this by using a "guess & confirm" system, similar to autocomplete. how it's done: 1. draft locally (the guess) instead of waiting for the network, a tiny, fast model on your device guesses the next few words instantly, without waiting for the network. 2. confirm remotely (the check) the massive remote model doesn't generate from scratch; it just checks the draft. it looks at the guesses in a batch and says "yes, yes, no." you get multiple words in the time it usually takes to get one. 3. adaptive logic dsd is smart. if the topic is creative, it lets the draft flow loose. if the topic is math or code, it checks more strictly. it balances speed and precision automatically so your inference almost feel instant. find out more: paper: blog:
