Absolutely 💯 They're busy in politics

Already govt is spending so much money in through various organization. When Israel like country, who is in war won gold &silver medal then what is lacking in India mindset.

He said what is true. #ModiGovernment is spending a lot of money on every player training. They get world class facilities and good investment is done on them. After @NSaina and @Pvsindhu1 got medals in #Badminton , This sport has got huge funds for training athletes. Not only Badminton, even #Archery and other sports also got good money. But still our world class players fail in #OlympicGames Rightly said they beat the same opponents in other tournaments but fail in #Olympics Just look at #DeepikaKumari Enjoying privileges from the government in the name of potential medal at olympics and failing each and every time to claim a #Medal

This needed to be told loud and clear. Good that Prakash Padukone has said it. His words apply to all sports where there were good medal chances but lost to lapse, sudden drop in performance.

He said truth. There isn't any fault of federation and govt, they are providing everything. Players need to take responsibility.

Indian Olympic players have to do better than blaming cricket for their failures and participating in protest against the government just to show that they are cool.

he is hurt like us.lakshya lost last 2 matches after taking good lead. it must have been frustrating for him also seeing him losing like that.healthy criticism should be done. yes,he played brilliantly but played very normal last 2 games.everyone expects from one who can deliver.

Absolutely atleast someone has recognised govts effort in improving the sports infrastructure and better facilities are being provided to the players and still the medal tally is not increasing
