@covid19nz How freakish that people have been condemned to get a virus regularly where they have to pace themselves before beginning to exercise again. And everyone is more than happy about that 🤷‍♀️

@covid19nz It worries me that this is a general recommendation. Mostly considering that most people will be going through their (at least) second infection. Ideally, people should get tested for endotheliitis/microclots before going back to exercise. Which is of course hard as tests 👇

@covid19nz While most countries fail to inform, or misinform thier populations, New Zealand stands alone as a beacon of scientific advice. Public health officals in British Columbia, Canada know all of this information, yet do not inform the public. Care to comment, @MichaelSchwandt?

@covid19nz Excellent advice. I'm 72 and find the Stages very optimistic and some Stages to be strictly aspirational - lol.😎 I beat (?) Covid almost a year ago, and truthfully I'm still working through the higher realms of Stage 2.🤣

@FranceskoNew @covid19nz Except if you don’t mask as soon as you have waited all this time and done these steps you’ll catch the next variant so it’s all in vain.

IF YOU WERE MURDERED BUT TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID.....YOU WERE A NEW ZEALAND "COVID DEATH" We submitted an OIA to fully understand the definitions underpinning the New Zealand Covid death tally We asked: Please explain how the definition of a Covid death has changed since 2021, including the date of changes and the reasons for the change. Answer: Prior to 2021, any person who passed away within 28 days of a COVID-19 positive test was reported as a ‘COVID-19 death.’ Due to the complexity of determining the cause of death, it often took time to obtain accurate and comprehensive mortality data relating to whether COVID19 was the underlying cause of death, a contributing factor alongside other health conditions (such as a cancer), or incidental to the death (e.g., in cases like a traffic accident). In July 2022 the reporting categories for COVID-19 deaths were updated. This was undertaken as data analysis processes became more streamlined, allowing for faster and more accurate reporting. The revised reporting categories included: • deaths with COVID-19 as the underlying cause, • deaths where COVID-19 served as a contributing factor alongside other health conditions, and • deaths unrelated to COVID-19, even if a recent positive test had been reported. Ref: H2023032730 (PS up to July 2022 there were 1,431 deaths where the patient tested "positive" for Covid 19 - these included people killed by gun shot and car accident. THEY WERE ALL LISTED AS COVID DEATHS) @TanyaUnkovichMP Casey Costello MP Winston Peters David Seymour Christopher Luxon #nzcovidinquiry2 (acknowledgements to Coronavirus Plushie for the video)
