Imagine doing this for a custom building facade. I wrote an article on how architects are mitigating this by using one mass-produced design units...

@_OvalDesigns The Vanke Pavilion looks great. I noticed the adjustable mounting system used to manipulate the facade. I think systems like that can make the installation easier, and using furring of course. Great article.

The former Jin Bei 4 is getting stripped for parts. Thieves have been at the air con units, the cages are off and you can see them dangling off the side of the building, and fire hoses have been tied together to lower the units to the ground. You can see it all in the videos I took. Imagine how many thousands of dollars are wrapped up in the material sitting in compounds like this. A lot of money to be made.

In my first full day yesterday, I completed 11 Robotaxi rides. My longest wait time has been 8 minutes. I would say average wait time was close to 4 minutes. I’ve encountered zero issues during my rides so far. A few pickup locations in the neighborhood haven’t been perfect, they could’ve been closer. But when it drops me off, it goes right in front of the home which is good. Easily fixable, I would like to see a location pin added in the future. I find the software version on these cars to be VERY confident, and aggressive — in a good way. The driving experience is incredibly smooth, you can’t compare it to any UBER human driver imo. Miles better. Overall so far, it’s feels much more polished to actually use it in person than watching it online. This is no Mickey Mouse launch, Tesla put an extreme amount of work into this, and it shows. The moment these scales and there’s millions on the road, it’s going to dominate. Wait times will be non existent, and prices will be able to undercut the competition due to scale. It’s gonna be fun to witness how this unfolds out.
