The parenting plan doesn't mean anything. My ex had 120 counts of contempt on her, and the POS family court judge did nothing. At one point, I tried pressing felony child Concealment charges, and the prosecutor called her and told her to follow the plan because she, the prosecutor, didn't want to deal with it.

This is painfully accurate to what I’m watching my dad go through. 01/04/2024 My mom leaves me and my (at the time) 12 year old brother at a gas station and leaves with my other 4 siblings. (She also blocked my dad’s number on both me and my brother’s phones so we couldn’t call for help) Mid-February 2024 A custom 50/50 arrangement is in place, instead of the kids switching in between houses it’s the parents that swap who lives with them, weekly. First week, it’s me and my dad’s turn. It goes well. Next week, my mom and 17 year old brother’s turn. The day before we swap, she attempts to burn my siblings alive in my dad’s house. House gets destroyed but thankfully my siblings are all alive. May 2024 My mom accuses my dad of destroying the house and ultimately makes my dad lose custody and isn’t allowed to see them, AT ALL. November 2024 It’s now proven that my mom burnt the place and that my dad is innocent. They let her go free and give my dad supervised visitation for a max of 4 hours per month, that’s a total of exactly 2 days (48 hours) a year at max. March 2026: a few months ago the court said they’re not changing anything because they don’t see a reason to, meanwhile all of my siblings have now been officially labeled as Clinically Insane. So I’m literally the only sane person among 6 kids (now 4 kids and 2 adults)

I don’t agree with this. I dated a guy who had a kid and his ex-wife didn’t want him to have the child because she didn’t want him around me (jealousy). In court, she came up with every excuse she could and the dad was awarded 50/50 custody.

So true. Its changing slowly but dad's get no respect in court. But never quit. They grow up and how much effort you put in, and how committed you were to principles is what wins the day. Took me 7 years. Lots of child support payments. But he knows now. Thats the difference.

I am still so mad about my ex stealing away my fantastic relationship with my kids. She though spreading her legs for someone else was more important than our family, and then raked me over the coals.... I wish I knew then, what I do know now..... Could have been a lot different.

Here's a great loophole around this that most men are unaware of. Marry a woman before you have sex with her. Have sex with only one woman in your lifetime and only marry a woman who has shown you that same respect. Couples that respect each other will create respectful children.

Back in April of 2013, my very first preemie was born. Roughly 10ish to 15ish days, the Wisconsin Court wanted both of us parents to be present and they wanted me to pay child support. My girlfriend (now Wife) called the court and told them they’re not taking me to court for child support. We both live together and we both pay for our son’s stuff. They dropped the case and removed it. It’s not the mother’s fault, it’s child support’s fault for taking the father to court just to get a dime out of the father. If the mother feels like the boyfriend is going to leave her, then I can totally see child support getting involved. Long story short…. Child Support should stay out of everyone’s relationship.

True, you have to go through paternity in court to get your fathers rights and put a parenting plan in place. I have sole custody of our son until his mother gets her shit together and gets her own place to live. Then files the necessary paperwork with the courts.

Sort of. You have to fight for it, but you can win. Some states do assume 50/50 custody (Missouri), so it's easier in some states. Murder is cheaper for sure.
