It is a war crime. It is abhorrent, and it is also illegal. Our presence right now is a crime. I personally believe it’s impeachable. But putting all of that aside, it’s a crime. No president is authorized by the Constitution of the United States to go to war without the authorization of Congress. Period. And acting on any of these threats would also be a crime.
