Once they accomplish this with this integration of AI into our lives, it’s going to be very hard to take that power back. If you think power was hard to take back in the last 50 years, we’re done. People need to fight back and fight back loudly”

I take partial blame along with the rest of the industry. We did not communicate the difference between a data center built in Virginia 20 years ago and what we're building now. Most data centers today don't use more water than a golf course, and so that's a huge package of misinformation. Additionally, everybody has to bring their own power. The major benefit to that is we need more power in America. Not just data centers, we need overall power. In Utah for example, I have to bring my own power and build power not only for the data center, but to give back to the community to keep power costs down. That's a major benefit. That's gonna happen across the country.

Tucker Carlson had an interesting take on power He basically argues that once people’s basic needs are met, the drive for “more” often turns into a desire for control over other people not just money anymore. His point is that everyone has that impulse to some degree, but the difference is whether people keep it in check or let it take over. He also suggests that a lot of people drawn to power positions may not be the most well-balanced psychologically but the ones most driven by that internal need to fill a void. Incentives shape behavior. Americans are leaving blue states for red states, and that costs democrats power. House seats and electoral votes are tied to population, not citizenship. Migrants help replace the bodies leaving without democrats having to fix their policies. That’s why they care so much. It’s not actually about the migrants in my opinion. It’s about holding onto federal power.
