If this was another angle of the Stephenville storm, it’s not the rain they were worried about. That storm was whipping baseball sized hail at up to 80mph

This is the second video in as many days I’ve seen of people parked under bridges because of light rain. Was it just hailing golf balls? It doesn’t look like it. Otherwise, this is ridiculous.

The reason they’re doing this dumb shit, is because the other drivers are doing some other dumb shit on the interstate. It never fails- get a little bit of rain on a Texas interstate and eventually every last one of them has hazards flashing, as they drive at ridiculously unsafe slow speeds, while refusing to get out of anyone else’s way.

This is a very dangerous place to even be when sheltering for weather. One such case was an F5 tornado that went through Bridge Creek, Oklahoma in 1999, the tornado went over an overpass and it wasn’t good.

One day it was raining so hard that i could see nothing pass 3 to 4 feet of the hood and the atleast a constant 2 ton3 inch of rain on the road.
