It's not really a trip in Germany unless you pack a 14 course meal into various tupperware containers, bring a basket for the bread rolls, and keep some slightly warm Wurst in a Thermos. Germans may not be prepared for everything, but they do have breakfast handled.

The Germans have been living with Turks for more than 60 years, and they still haven't learned what a proper breakfast looks like. Shame, really.

That‘s a Bavarian breakfast… Never have come across anything like that on a train up north. Here it‘s OAPs opening their tupperware to eat Butterbrote wrapped in Butterbrotpapier, also peeling + eating hard-boiled eggs, thus adding a sulphurous smell to the entire compartment 🤢

for me it is an example of inefficiency (yeah a bit of provocation to start the week with the proper Laune)

I remember after a week on holiday in Germany of bread and cold cuts for breakfast and lunch I opined that the difference was you didn’t drink beer at breakfast. I was informed that I was wrong!🍻🤪❤️

I never saw anybody doing that ever in a german or any other countries train. Usually people eat sandwiches, or a grenola bar like everywhere else.
