Working in a German office, I enjoyed hearing colleagues greet each other with a cheery "Mahlzeit!", which signalled lunch. Asked the English for "Mahlzeit!", I joked it was "Happy Lunchtime!". My colleagues duly adopted it for a week, until I reluctantly told them the truth.
