It’s not that E8s opted out. It’s that E9s let them run from the responsibility w/out consequences & made SFCs carry the weight. IMO it should be sink or swim for all E8s. Take the job when offered or dueces.

I honestly can’t wrap my head around this. When the students refused to stop, the class teacher actually allowed them to fight it out instead of stepping in. That feels like a total breakdown of responsibility and safety. Do you think the teacher was overwhelmed and out of options, or should there always be consequences for letting something like this happen?
