3I/ATLAS SPOTTED ON SOLAR CORONAGRAPH! First spotted by amateur astronomer Worachate Boonplod (see top comment), I then analyzed the last 7 days of CCOR-1 footage and 3I/ATLAS is clearly observed (circled in red) at the edges of the coronagraph where the brightness of the solar wind is minimal. Close examination shows this object moving in a retrograde direction faster than the background stars and along the expected vector as 3I/ATLAS based on prior astronomical measurements. In prior videos I mentioned that it was a possibility that 3I/ATLAS would be visible on coronagraphs, but I didn't peg it at a high likelihood due to it's apparent magnitude being ~10. Very cool to see our interstellar visitor still on course and behaving "normally", though the Sun is certainly in frenzy blasting 3I/ATLAS with BIG coronal mass ejections! #3IATLAS #astronomy #spaceweather

A mysterious interstellar object, 31/ATLAS, is racing through our solar system and will reach its closest point to the sun October 29. At the same time, NASA is preparing the Artemis II mission for 2026, and aiming to return humans to the Moon by 2027. But the question remains… Is NASA showing us everything?
