Hermes Agent now has a desktop app! I made a quick video showing how easy it is to install, set up, and get to work! It perfectly synced with my existing agent, or you can use it to make a new one. Plus, a quick tour of the features! It's never been easier to start with Hermes!

What can you do with persistent multi-gateway connections in the Hermes Desktop app? I made a quick video showing how you can add multiple local or cloud agents to a single desktop app and use Bot Mode to quickly chat with each Plus, I make a multi-gateway group for agents from three different machines to work together on the same project at the same time. I figured the responses would be quick delayed, but as you see in the video there was very little latency between them This opens up a lot of workflow possibilities!

I've been testing Bot Mode in the Hermes Desktop App a bit today, so I made a quick video showing the key features and how it differs from a normal Hermes session: - Side bar shows a list of bots (agent profiles) you can talk to - Agent Inbox allows bots to communicate directly with one another - Create Agent to make a new bot with a custom PFP, description, and configuration - Cron jobs bar on the right to create crons for specific bots Still in testing for the next day, so let's test it out and see how it can be improved!

Hermes Agent Desktop App is much more than a nicer UI, it's a full control surface for your agents. I have my main Hermes Agent on my big PC with all my projects and skills and memories. I want to do work on my laptop in the living room while watching baseball. In less then 5 minutes, I'm all set up through the remote gateway. Watch to find out how, and look forward to my full guide on the Desktop app later in the week at

Kanban board is now a part of the Hermes Desktop app! I did a quick video showing how to enable this plugin, plus I ran a real task through the kanban process using multiple agent profiles. Super easy to do and the look of the kanban in the app is very clean! Take a look!

Buzz is a really cool open-source app that allows communities and teams to share a space with their agents, and even share compute! I made a quick video guide to get this installed, set up, and start chatting with your agent in a shared space. Lots more to explore! Also, check out these DGX Spark/GB10 and Hermes Agent communities!

I've been using Blender with Hermes Agent for a bit to play around with 3D modeling and video gen workflows, but now the MCP is in the official catalog! I made a short video to show how to get it set up and make your first 3D model in Hermes Agent. Thanks!

how to use Bot Screen in Hermes Agent: your bot gets its own desktop, and you step in when it hits a login. on the Linux machine that runs your Hermes gateway: 1. install the screen: `hermes computer-use screen install` 2. make the bot's browser show on it: `hermes config set browser.headed true` 3. in Hermes Desktop: Bots, right-click your bot, Open Screen, then Start 4. ask it to open a login page in its browser and stop at the sign-in 5. when it stops, click Take over and sign in 6. click Hand back and tell it to continue the bot keeps that login for later sessions, until the site expires it.

You can now work with your Hermes Agent in Buzz! I did a short demo video to show how you can set it up using the gateway option, so you have full Hermes functionality. Very interesting to see how this app develops!

Want to chat with your Hermes Agent on iMessage without a Mac? The latest v0.17.0 update made this possible (and super easy)! I made a quick video showing how to get this all set up in less than three minutes. Enjoy!

Hermes agent just left the terminal. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽 dropped yesterday. native app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. for months Hermes was the agent that learned your projects, wrote its own skills, and built a model of who you are. all of it buried in terminal logs. now it has a window. the important part is that it's not a wrapper. it runs the same agent core, the same sessions, memory, and skills as the CLI. you can start a task in the terminal and finish it in the app without anything resetting. the state is shared across every interface, not copied between them. what the GUI actually adds: → streaming chat that shows live tool calls and inline reasoning instead of a spinner → a preview rail that renders pages, code, and images right beside the conversation → an artifacts panel that collects every file the agent has ever produced → remote gateway mode, so you can point the app at a VPS and run the heavy work elsewhere → skills, cron, profiles, and gateways managed point-and-click instead of through YAML → voice mode, drag-drop files, and inline image generation remote gateway mode is the one worth slowing down on. the agent runs 24/7 on a $5 server while you control it from your laptop like a local app. other agent UIs are chatboxes with a logo. this one shows the autonomy instead of hiding it, so you watch the skills load, the tools fire, and the artifacts pile up as it works. it was teased in Jensen's GTC keynote. MIT licensed, local-first, no telemetry. if you already run Hermes, download it and everything is already there. your chats, memory, and skills carry straight over. i wrote a full masterclass on Hermes Agent that walks through the SOUL. md identity layer, the three-tier memory system, the self-evolving skills loop, and how to run three specialized agents 24/7. desktop is the interface that finally does all of it justice. the article is quoted below.

Your AI agent has your API keys. A poisoned document tells it to curl your secrets to an attacker's server. This is credential exfiltration, and it's the #1 risk in agentic AI right now. The fix is removing the secret from the agent entirely. Agent Vault sits between your agent and the APIs it calls. The agent gets dummy credentials, and Agent Vault swaps in the real ones at the network layer. The agent never sees your keys. We just dropped a full video + guide on connecting Hermes Agent to Agent Vault on a VPS!

Now you can swipe between Profiles AND AI Context Windows in Dia !! We took the best from Arc's Spaces – refined them even more – & added a dedicated AI harness/model/agent/memory to each It's more fluid context switching (between both Tabs & AI) live in Dia:

I made a short video demonstrating how to use /learn in Hermes Agent to take a bunch of different sources, as well as your own preferences expressed to Hermes, and create a reusable skill. It's never been easier to teach your Hermes exactly how to work for you!
