Question 3 is a blatant Maryland Democratic power grab to loosen state constitutional limits on congressional maps so they can target the last Republican seat. Question 3 is Chesapeake cronyism at its finest. Voting yes is a vote to give Annapolis free reign to redraw Maryland’s congressional map unrestricted by the Maryland Constitution’s requirement that legislative districts “consist of adjoining territory, be compact in form, and of substantially equal population.” How this would support democracy or ensure Marylander’s voices are heard is beyond me. Regardless of party affiliation, elections should be won by those with the best ideas for their constituents - not by choosing who their constituents are. Vote NO to Question 3.

We’re preserving a constitutional republic, not simple majority rule. Democracy selects our representatives; the Constitution restrains them. Question 3 is literally about whether to remove one of those restraints. That’s called actual cheating.

The President is a resident of Florida. The question for Marylanders if they will have representative government or not. Marylanders is for Marylanders, not a pawn for a political party to advance their special interest for lifetime control.
