There is a major concern about Data Centers that are using closed loop cooling systems that’s not being talked about There are a lot of chemicals being put into the water used in these systems. Important reality check from WashPost's Josh Rogin about the age/condition of govt planes during after AF1 had electrical issues and turned around instead of continuing its flight to Davos.... "Over the course of 20 years of traveling on government aircraft, this happens all the time. You know, it's a really old fleet and there's a constant state of disrepair. It's much more rare for Air Force One than it is for like the planes that the vice president and the secretary of defense, the secretary of state, might fly on. But these things happen, and it's because the planes are very, very old. And so, I think the fact that they caught it early and they turned back, it shouldn't really be a big problem. But it is kind of shocking to people who don't know, but it's kind of an open secret amongst the reporters who travel with senior officials that the U.S. fleet is very old and the planes are not in good condition, and that doesn't justify taking a plane from Qatar for free or anything like that. But it's just kind of a thing that everybody knows that these are really old planes and they malfunction all the time. So, they caught it. This is how DNA turns coded information into functional proteins - the building blocks of the nanomachines that keep the cells in your body alive. This complex process highlights the sophisticated interconnected systems of Life which must all exist together from the beginning, or Life doesn't happen. Without the specifically ordered DNA information, RNA cannot form, proteins cannot be built, cells stop working, and life ceases to exist. Life is information first. Once the RNA Molecule is created, it gets ejected from the Polymerase where it was built, and it travels through a complex molecular machine called a Nuclear Pore Complex (NPC), which is an information recognition device that controls the flow of information in and out of a cell's nucleus. The NPC is highly complex - composed of about 500-1,000 protein subunits, derived from a set of about 35 distinct proteins. Without this molecular machine, there is no regulation for what goes in and out of the cell's nucleus, which would lead to catastrophic death for the cell. It must exist for cells to exist. Once the RNA Molecule passes through the NPC, it travels to the Ribosome, a 2-part chemical factory which reads the information on RNA and uses it to construct functional proteins using a specifically sequenced chain of amino acids. Once complete, this protein will then be sent to the section of the cell it belongs to integrate into another molecular machine and do its job. The Ribosome is another highly complex molecular machine - consisting of between 56-80 proteins. Without this molecular machines, proteins cannot be built. Proteins are the building blocks of every cell in every organism on Earth. Without Ribosomes, Life doesn't exist. If you're paying attention, you'll start to realize that Life relies on a highly sophisticated interdependent network of complex machines, which all rely on each other for the function of the system. Systems like this cannot be built by evolutionary processes, which requires that each piece of the process is built by gradual incremental means over lots of time. Molecular Biology is the best and most obvious evidence of the Intelligent Design in Life.

Morgan Housel will never use AI to write. To him, it defeats the whole purpose of writing. "The process of writing is what gets the author thinking. When they write a book, they didn't have all that knowledge in their head. They started out with one brave sentence, and then that taught them something. If you're using any kind of LLM to do any of the broad structure for you, you're not actually thinking. You stripped out everything that was good about writing." He'll use it for research, as a "Google on steroids." But even then he argues that the research process is different: "When you're doing the reps of research, it's gonna hit you in a different way."

All the officials that are dealing with these products are legally allowed to lie to people about all of the above about contents safety, efficacy, compliance with the manufacturing law, pharmaceutical manufacturing law. "Also, all the import–expert laws are waived for them. The contracts are secret. The contracts that the Netherlands signed as part of the EU purchasing with Pfizer is incredibly predatory. Called predatory. It's a contract that's basically, you know, it's invalid on its face because it's so ridiculously predatory. "They force the governments to waive all the regulations, waive import–export, waive any compliance requirements, do not test the lots. The governments are supposed to test the lots which come into the country. So that wasn't allowed. "The governments could not change the national laws with respect to liability. So they had to waive all the liability, indemnify Pfizer, so, meaning if the citizens in the country are injured and sue in their country and win, then the government has to pay Pfizer. That's why they're in such collusion with each other, because they agreed with each other that they indemnified each other. "But the citizens are disposable, they have no rights, because of all these parameters, it's the same thing as if a random syringe is lying on the ground there. Exactly the same thing, which is a weapon."

And the conclusion that I came to, this is an earlier book, The Stuff of Thought (subtitle is Language is a Window into Human Nature), is that direct speech generates common knowledge, and that common knowledge is the basis of our social relationships. Two people--if they're friends, if they're lovers, if they're transactional partners, if they're in a dominance hierarchy--all of those are equilibria in coordination games, and they're matters of common knowledge. In the case of friends, it's we're equal, we would do anything for each other, we're there for each other, and that's kind of the common knowledge that makes friends friends.
