Weak GOP leaders in Kansas just chose to stand down and forfeit the fight for a Republican congressional map. Kansas Republicans have a supermajority and can pick up a Republican House seat if they redraw the map. They are choosing not to. While Democrats redraw congressional maps to gain power across the country, Topeka is standing down. That’s not leadership and that is exactly why I’m running for Governor. It’s time for a change.

Then look at California going from 82 percent Democrat to 92 percent after redistricting. They are playing to win at all costs. Senators in Indiana blocked redistricting, but they should go further and counter what Democrats have already done in places like Massachusetts, which has 9 seats and zero Republican representation. If one side is going to stack the deck, the other side can’t keep playing nice.
