It would be a musical show to savour next Sunday, 6 April 2025, at the HICC in Harare when the fabulous In Total Band offers its eagerly awaited 2025 edition of the 'Legends Night' gig. Formed in 2014, the core of 'In Total Band' is led by saxophonist Joseph Chinouriri and has the amazing duo of Naphtali Chivandikwa on bass, and Takakunda Mukundu on lead guitar. The band's ensemble for a given gig includes guest musicians, who vary depending on the music of the featured iconic legend. Over the years since its formation, In Total Band's Legends Night gigs have celebrated songs from an array of Zimbabwe's legendary artistes like Oliver Mtukudzi, Leonard Dembo, John Chibadura, James Chimombe; and legendary bands such as Four Brothers and Bhundu Boys. Last year's In Total Legends Night gig celebrated the infectious and spellbinding music of the sungura maestro, Alex Macheso. As attested by the attached video from the 2024 Macheso gig, In Total's musicality and sonic quality of the performance was arguably better than the Macheso original. Great vibes!
