Man decided to propose to his girlfriend in a mall, but she said NO and walked out of the scene. The lady felt embarrassed after her boyfriend proposed to her in a public mall. She pleaded with him to get up and not embarrass her at that moment, but when she saw that he kept insisting, she angrily walked away. The man, who was in disbelief, remained on his knees speechless for a few seconds, trying to process what had just happened. Some men around him stepped in to encourage him and helped him out of the mall

Hans von Bülow's #Bechstein in Beijing. I was profoundly moved to be able to play a little #Liszt and a tiny bit of #Wagner on this instrument owned by one of the greatest and most influential musicians of the 19th century. He was Liszt's son-in-law (Cosima's first husband) and the one divorced by her to marry Wagner. He not only conducted the first performances of Tristan and Meistersinger (he bore no grudge against the music) but he played the first performance of the #Tchaikovsky First Piano Concerto in Boston. Not to mention the first public performance of the LISZT SONATA! A giant.

In 2005 a piano teacher in the United States and her husband were upstairs in their house when they heard the piano going downstairs. The same note, struck over and over. They thought someone had broken in. They ran down and found their cat, a grey tabby called Nora, alone on the bench, hammering at one key with her right paw. She looked up at them, then went back to it. The cat had taught herself. Nora’s owner Betsy gave piano lessons in that room every day. Over the months Nora had watched, and at some point decided she’d have a go. None of the other six cats in the house ever touched the piano. Only Nora. She had preferences. She’d only play one specific Yamaha. She gravitated to a particular range of notes in the middle of the keyboard. She refused to play if she couldn’t sit properly on the bench, and if a student annoyed her Betsy would shift the bench back a foot and Nora would simply quit for the day. A video of Nora went up on YouTube in 2007 and got 17 million views. The Times of London compared her playing to a mix of Philip Glass and free jazz. America’s National Science Foundation, the country’s main scientific research body, put her in a museum exhibit on animal behaviour. In 2009 a composer in Lithuania scored a full orchestral concerto around her recordings. It premiered live with a chamber orchestra in Lithuania, with Nora’s playing on a screen above them. They called it CATcerto. Most animals who do impressive things have been trained. Nora wasn’t. She picked it up by watching, which is observational learning, and it’s rare in cats. Dogs do it more often. Cats usually don’t bother copying us at all. Nora passed peacefully in 2024, on her favourite blanket, aged 19.

Another video from the Epstein files has surfaced where a girl can be seen sitting in a helicopter smiling.. She had no idea what was going to happen to her later.. But after a short time she was reportedly treated in a very cruel and disturbing way.. On the other side her family says that she has never been found and there has been no trace of her till today.. Hearing this is deeply heartbreaking and raises many painful questions.. Her family keeps asking why they still have not received justice and why those responsible have not been held accountable..?

China responded to the note incident, and didn't deny it happened. At today's foreign ministry briefing, spokeswoman Mao Ning was asked about Teodoro reading the note aloud on stage. She said she wasn't sure exactly what happened at the event, then pivoted straight back to Beijing's standard line: the 2016 arbitration was a "distortion and abuse" of UNCLOS that the Philippines itself violated. She closed by urging "the certain individual of the Philippine side to cut the provocations and theatrics." Notice what's missing. No denial that a Chinese military attaché passed the note. No pushback on any specific line Teodoro read aloud. Just a redirect back to the arbitration argument he'd already dismantled in front of the room.

#WesternSyria | #Masyaf : The girl “Siham Muhammad al-Khallouf”, 20 years old, appeared just a short while ago in a video clip wearing a niqab, claiming that she has not been kidnapped and that she left on her own free will because her family wanted to force her into marriage, according to her. She also spoke in two different accents, her original accent and a second accent unfamiliar to people from her region, and this occurred in the video twice. In the video, she stated verbatim: “The General Security and the HTS have nothing to do with my kidnapping!” And she did not disclose her whereabouts and asked her family not to look for her. The girl does not normally wear a hijab or niqab, and she belongs to the Alawite community. A number of previously kidnapped women have returned wearing the niqab. In contact made just a short while ago with her father and mother, they were in a hysterical state and confirmed that their daughter had been kidnapped, and that they had never pressured her into marriage whatsoever. They also confirmed that General Security had threatened them against making any video appearances.

Beautiful things happened in Prague. I learnt a song and sang it in Czech... the singer of the song happened to be in the crowd!!! Lucky for me she agreed to join me on stage the next night so we could sing it together ~ I love when things like this happen. What a wonderful two nights in Prague and what a beauty of a city she is!! I loved a little post show nightseeing too🤍🤍

🍼 Imagine finding out you’re pregnant and then having your baby the same day. That’s what happened to this mom… This woman and her husband went on a 20-mile bike ride… four days later she was in the ER thinking she had a kidney stone… and discovered she was NINE MONTHS pregnant. She had zero symptoms, no bump, and had been on birth control the whole time. Their baby boy was born the same day — on 12/12/12! This is one of the craziest stories I’ve heard. Has this ever happened to someone you know?

In SH2R, something completely different might have happened to Maria before meeting James, than in BfaW. The smashed bottle of White Chrism, with the liquid spilled out, is evidence of a different story that happened off-screen. In OG SH2, Maria brought the White Chrism bottle inside the mansion, to help Ernest. In SH2R's normal NG, the White Chrism is smashed and spilled out in the garden, and James can inspect it, implying it's important. Then in NG+ another bottle appears, and there's an uneasiness in Maria's voice as she recognizes it. Which implies she might have smashed the bottle herself in the remake instead of helping Ernest, for some reason. Something might have went wrong when she returned to Baldwin Mansion with the White Chrism. Maria's comments on the Baldwin Mansion also don't seem right. BfaW ends just before James and Maria meet, but Maria talks about the mansion as if it's a distant bad memory that she doesn't fully remember. It's possible she's lying because she doesn't want to talk about what happened inside, which might have led her to smash the bottle (and therefore Ernest failed to bring his daughter Amy back). #silenthill #silenthill2
