Thank you!! 😊 I hope we'll get an explanation for this someday! I still haven't given up hope for the dlc, we have to wait for the next Transmission where they'll reveal the next SH projects. Maybe they'll surprise us with something!

I agree, I prefer that interpretation of Maria too! But the remake makes her feel much more like a real person than James' fantasy.

I don't understand why in SH2R James can't attack nor kill Maria. It served as a subtle hint that James is capable of killing someone he loves, and attacking her with the chainsaw made her scream just like the monsters, hinting at her true nature. Instead, in SH2R James refuses to aim at her, and if the player tries to aim at her she simply complains about the flashlight. While attacking Maria may appear as a useless mechanic, knowing the full story gives it a whole new meaning, and I wish it wasn't left out of the remake. Perhaps they could have added just a little hint that it crosses James' mind for a moment to hurt Maria. #silenthill #silenthill2

What are you talking about?" might be because he noticed the rain doesn't affect her, and he knows something's off about her. There is a beautiful Catholic tradition with that piece of cloth (manutergium) which was used to wipe the oil of chrism from his hands. The mother is to keep this cloth for the rest of her life. Upon her death, she is buried with it in her hands. As tradition says, when she arrives to the gates of heaven, she will present the cloth to show that she raised a priest who shared in Jesus's life and suffering.

What happened to Oprah Winfrey in the short period of time is it possible that she was replaced after revelations were made about her once the Epstein files were released in 2026? Personally, I have no idea what the exact truth is. It’s impossible to know being an outside observer from all of this, but I do think she knows something that could be of used to certain parties that might want her to not speak out about what she has found out and so it’s very possible that she has been cloned!

This is a rare Beta build of SH2, and it has differences to the final version! James looks more tired, he has a different animation when he runs out of breath, the inventory is different, some melee animations are different, metallic sounds sometimes play and make the controller vibrate as though Pyramid Head is nearby, and there's some unused soundtrack. Also Mary's letter and photo aren't in the inventory and Maria doesn't appear at all. Wait until the end for James vibing to an unreleased track! There's a big hidden secret in this cutscene; The real reason Angela panics is because she notices someone spying on her and James. By hacking the camera we see that she notices them and talks to them, not to James, and by disabling music and ambience we can hear their footsteps and the rustle of clothes. While it's possible she saw her father, that person/monster stays there after she leaves, and spies on James while he digs up the director's box. “I liked a tweet by JD Hall this morning.” Really interesting clip from James White yesterday, wherein he admits (confesses?) to liking a tweet by JD™. This can actually tell you a lot about James and how his mind works. The tweet in question was JD Hall dunking on Jenna Ellis on the topic of Calvinism, about which she is hopelessly ignorant. Hall put Ellis in her place as only Polemics Santa can do, and White ate it all up. The thing is, James White has often complained about JD’s tactics, but what this little episode shows is that White never actually had an issue with him there. Rather, it was the fact that JD decided to use those same tactics against James. That’s when everything went sideways. It had nothing to do with Hall’s struggles from a few years back. So there’s the moral of the story. James is happy to associate with literally anyone, just as long as they attack the correct targets and focus on the correct issues. Anything that James deems to be friendly fire will get you voted off the island before you can say “sacralism.” And yes, I do have a PhD in James White Studies. Unfortunately, it’s not from an accredited school. 😢
