It’s really cool that Maul Shadow Lord did expended on Marrok/The First Brothers’s abilities. Not only he’s a skilled Inquisitor but they showcased that he has Psychometry aka Force Echo, a rare ability, which makes Marrok even more cooler. #MaulShadowLord #StarWars

After watching Maul Shadow Lord, it’s pretty sad that both The Crow and Marrok got killed by Ahsoka in other shows, but I wanted to know how Marrok got the Nightsister magic. Hopefully the next season explains his fate. #MaulShadowLord #StarWars

It’s really cool that Maul Shadow Lord takes a lot of inspiration from Star Wars videos games especially when Maul pulls a Starkiller move from Force Unleashed. #MaulShadowLord #StarWars

Not even a huge fan of Maul like that, but… He struggles to even vanquish one Inquisitor. He has to jump Vader who practically treats him like he’s KANAN JARRUS or something. Where’s that Dark Side allure that gets Devon to think the quick and easy path holds value for her?

What makes Syril’s death even more depressing is that not only he died like a nobody, but hearing the last words of your “Arch rival” saying “who are you?” Completely destroyed him. #Andor #StarWars

A train that emits water, not smoke. How cool is that? This is India's first Hydrogen Cell Powered Train 🚆 What's cooler? India is one of only 6 nations to develop this technology ⚡ What's even cooler? India has developed the most powerful hydrogen train in the world 🔥

Francis Fukuyama on Trump: Trump has been pro-Soviet and then pro-Russian for decades. And it’s a strange thing. Nobody really understands why that happened, but it’s a consistent theme. And I don’t believe for a minute that he’s become more sympathetic towards Ukraine. He’s frustrated because he thought the Russians would actually defeat Ukraine, and he’s unhappy that that hasn’t forced them into a settlement. But he’s not switched sides.

Learning that The Boys not only has a fandom in China, but that it’s far more tolerable because they don’t give a shit about the hamfisted messaging. They just love Homelander.

It’s really cool that Vector Prime, the first book in the New Jedi Order series from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, actually got a commercial made to advertise it back in 1999. Even cooler that they actually got Mark Hamill to come back for voiceover work.

it hit me that michael‘s first grammy win EVER was the one for off the wall that he was upset about. not only did the jacksons never win a grammy, but michael even hated his first award cause they boxed him in again.

Yeosangie talking about his first pitch!! He didn't spoil much BUT he did confirm that he isn't pitching for Incheon....👀 & that the team contacted him first 😭 🌻: It’s not Incheon x 2 🌻: Even though I’m Songdo’s son 🌻: Right, but still, I’m really thankful because there was a team that contacted me first. 🌻: So I feel grateful

soobin said that when he used to work out before, his goal was to make his body thick & buff because he’s really skinny and he also wanted the fit of his clothes to look cooler but during his long break this time, he rewatched a lot of videos from debut till now and he doesn’t remember when exactly but during ‘the killa’ he wore a really tight outfit and his arms were really pumped at the time so he looked really rough and big…but he didn’t think that looked good on him. he said that off-stage, he thought he had a good body and it looked cool but he doesn’t think it looked good with the idol outfits they’d wear on stage and that made his dance moves look less complete and heavy so when he started working out again this time, he told them that he wants to maintain his size while making only his frame grow wider: 🐰 they told me not to say ridiculous things 🐿️ that is kinda a ridiculous thing to say…it’s like saying you want to lose weight on only your face but taehyun said that he understands exactly what soobin is saying because soobin’s arms grow really quickly and arms are what make people look buffer and if it’s a short-sleeved shirt or a tank top it looks even more like that; soobin said that although he’s been working out 4-5 days a week lately, his goal is to not get bigger but still make his body better!

Sam Altman on what he learned from Peter Thiel Sam reflects on Peter’s ability to come up with evocative, short statements that really stick in your brain (e.g. “We wanted flying cars, instead we got 140 characters.”): “I don’t really know anybody else who does that like he does, but he just has very interesting things to say and very interesting ways to say them. With most people you’re lucky to get one or the other, and he’s a very rare combination of both. It’s super impressive.” Sam believes what makes Peter special is his ability to think about the world in a deeply unconstrained way: “The first thing anybody would say about him is he is a truly brilliant original thinker, and that’s just rare.” Sam doesn’t believe he has this ability but what he did learn an important lesson from Peter when he said the biggest investment mistake he ever made was not investing in the Series B of Facebook: “That is the kind of mistake I try not to make. I’m a big believer in find what is working and go aggressively after it. The really good ideas are rare, and when you find one, you should quadruple down on it… In writing, business, whatever, I really, really believe in this principle.” Video source: David Perell (2024)

Deron Williams on Kevin Garnett comments that the NBA has moved from a sport to more of an event: “I see what KG is saying. Like, he’s not really talking about it from a viewership really, but I guess he is but he’s not. He’s saying when we was coming up social media wasn’t there. We wouldn’t worried about, you know, of course brand deals are a thing but they didn’t come before the game. The game would bring those things, now it’s like these dudes in college they have these brand deals before they even get to the league. So it’s about an imagine, it’s about you know, what they can do off the court. And that kind of takes a precedence over the game.” (Via ToTheBaha)

.Mina Kimes on CJ Stroud: “CJ Stroud did not have a good postseason but I think it’s also worth stressing that he was a very different player since he’s come into the NFL. Over the course of his regular season career he has an interception rate of just 1.7% which is 11th among QBs in that time. You can argue that he’s proven that’s not who he is on the whole. Houston can do a better job of supporting him, the offensive line & the run game.”

Wanjiku Thiga: The problem with this government is that they do not even listen; they only respond with heckling. I was addressing Omwansa, and it is very unfortunate that he leads students in this country, yet not even once has he spoken about their issues. He has only talked about what he, as an individual, has benefited from, which is just a house #SemaNaCitizen

Wemby agreed with Mitch Johnson that the Spurs did not execute the game plan the way they did in the previous meetings. He was also asked about how he feels coming into a place where is not viewed in awe but more as a nemesis. To which he responded: “I only heard ONE f* you.” 👽🏀

Actually a really cool “Guess the Swing” vid showing LIV golfers. I guessed every swing before they even swung, except #3. (That took me a bit, he’s not near on the level of turn others.) With all the talk of “factory swings”, that unique DNA shows!
