It’s really cool that Vector Prime, the first book in the New Jedi Order series from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, actually got a commercial made to advertise it back in 1999. Even cooler that they actually got Mark Hamill to come back for voiceover work.

It’s so cool that we actually have a Toonami bumper from 2003 for the Clone Wars micro series. Love how they remixed the Imperial March just for this commercial too. So nostalgic thinking about watching this series after coming home from school.

I really like how, in this moment from The Book Of Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker actually gave Grogu a fair choice as to whether or not he wanted to continue training to be a Jedi or return to Din Djarin. It’s a great progression from the Jedi Order that we see in earlier stories set within the Prequel Era, and really says a lot about how Luke wanted to teach the next generation of Jedi.

Despite being one of the pulpiest Star Wars movies IMO, it’s really fascinating to take a look back at how ominous the first teaser for Attack of the Clones was. Darth Vader’s breathing being the only sound throughout the entire teaser makes the film look way eerier than it actually is. Even wilder considering it played before screenings of Toy Story 2 back in 2002.

It’s really cool that we got a glimpse of what Clone Trooper training was like on Kamino in the Republic Commando game from 2005. We’d get a further exploration of this in the 2008 Clone Wars series, but you literally get a first person view of what life was like for a clone from creation to deployment on Geonosis. Such an incredible experience. One of the best Star Wars games ever.

i’m really glad tom kane got to return as the clone wars narrator one last time in the first bad batch episode. it was such a cool transition between shows and was a really fitting send-off to his time with star wars.
