It’s really cool that we got a glimpse of what Clone Trooper training was like on Kamino in the Republic Commando game from 2005. We’d get a further exploration of this in the 2008 Clone Wars series, but you literally get a first person view of what life was...

Still think it’s awesome that the Republic Commando game from 2005 decided to give the Clone Troopers one of the hardest themes in all of Star Wars

The Clone Wars gave Clone Trooper 99 one of the most meaningful deaths in Star Wars. A clone who spent years being told he wasn’t fit for battle ends up sacrificing himself during the Battle of Kamino. By the end, nobody questions whether he was a soldier.

One of the coolest gaming cameos in The Clone Wars. At the beginning of Season 3’s “Witches of the Mist,” the Clone Commandos delivering the bodies of Jedi Master Halsey and his Padawan Knox are actually Delta Squad: Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev from the 2005 video game Star Wars: Republic Commando. Dave Filoni specifically requested that the fan-favourite squad be included in the episode, giving the Republic Commando crew a brief appearance in The Clone Wars.

This Spider Droid using its arms to puppeteer a dead Clone Trooper towards Anakin in The Clone Wars is still easily one of the creepiest things I’ve ever seen in a Star Wars project.

I strongly advise anyone who’s a fan of Star Wars: Clone Wars to check out this animation Hello There just released. It’s a recreation of the iconic fight from Episode 3 done in the Clone Wars aesthetic! It’s incredible. Three years of hard work!

Still really appreciate that the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series gave us a brief glimpse of what it was like for a pre-injured General Grievous to train under Count Dooku

Say what you will about the 2008 Clone Wars movie, but The Battle Of Christophsis is still genuinely one of the best battles in any Star Wars project. Such an underrated sequence that perfectly set the tone for both this particular era and the iconic series exploring it.

People are acting like Yoda would never do something like this when he literally helped hide the discovery that Dooku was behind the creation of the clone army from the rest of The Republic. It’s a moment from The Clone Wars that is incredibly pivotal to the eventual downfall of both The Republic and the Jedi Order. Yoda would’ve absolutely helped Vernestra after the events of The Acolyte.

Have always found this interaction between Boba Fett and a Clone Trooper in the second season of The Clone Wars incredibly interesting. Boba doesn’t acknowledge the feelings of brotherhood that we see other clones express throughout the series, yet still hesitates to blast one because he looks identical to his father. Really exceptional storytelling that only further solidified Boba Fett as one of the greatest Star Wars characters ever.

This bit from the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series where General Grievous gets comedically yanked away by a train on Coruscant is still one of the funniest things to ever happen in Star Wars.

General Grievous is one of the coolest Star Wars characters ever until you realize that he was legitimately defeated by a bunch of Gungans throwing boomas at him in an episode of The Clone Wars

It’s really amazing that the very first episode of The Clone Wars still has one of the best moments from the entire series IMO. Yoda telling his Clone Troopers to remove their helmets to let them know that although they may look the same, they are all different people, is honestly such a great scene. What a phenomenal way to immediately further develop and add more layers to The Republic’s army from The Prequels.

i’m really glad tom kane got to return as the clone wars narrator one last time in the first bad batch episode. it was such a cool transition between shows and was a really fitting send-off to his time with star wars.

We really don’t talk enough about how Commander Thorn had one of the greatest final stands in not just The Clone Wars, but all of Star Wars. It’s rare that a side character receives such an iconic moment, but this scene has always been unforgettable in my opinion. Such an iconic scene.

Still think it’s awesome that the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series showed us The Battle of Coruscant from Revenge of the Sith in an entirely different perspective. Seeing Jedi Master Saesee Tinn lead an army of Clone Troopers to board a Separatist ship in space was something truly epic.

One of the greatest speeches in all of Star Wars actually comes from this episode of The Clone Wars, where Padmé speaks out in The Senate against funding additional Clone Troopers. An extremely powerful moment that truly shows why the politics of the Prequel Trilogy that were heavily criticized at the time always actually mattered. Star Wars is, and has always been, political. Such underrated and extremely overlooked episodes. Really makes you wonder if Mon Mothma was thinking about this moment when she delivered her speech to the Imperial Senate in Andor.

The final minute of The Clone Wars is still easily some of the greatest Star Wars ever. Watching Vader’s silhouette walk away from Ahsoka’s crashed Venator through the reflection of a Clone Trooper’s helmet says more than any dialogue ever could. Exceptional storytelling. I seriously can’t imagine this series ending any other way.
