Hey, congrats on the release and great job on the addon! The controller works really well and handles all kinds of slopes and stairs properly I have some feedback: - I see that it was made primarly with recording in mind. It would be nice to be able to use it with RMB+WASD like in game engines to fly around. (Press and hold RMB to move and when you release RMB you stay where you are). This way you'll be able actually work on the level as you walk around - In fly controllers E is usually used to go up and Q to go down. I know they're remappable but it'd probably make sense to fix the defaults - Would probably also make sense to use space to jump by default - Would be nice to have a setting for max walkable slope angle - Would love to see crouching because a lot of FPS games have it and it would help with testing levels

Thanks for the feedback! RMB+WASD like in Unity? Possible, but would need careful modal handling.. RMB jump comes from my Quake 3 bunnyhopping days - I know I should change that :) And you're right, E/Q is flipped - I'll fix that. I’ll also consider the rest for future updates.

It's cool to actually see the render difference between eevee-next and cyclex

thats cool! never thought of that side by side view!

whaaaaat!!!!!???? - IT'S UNREAL inside of blender !!!

btw - press 'X' to reset the timeline while in the operator - no need to exit and restart. And Use blenders 'current cache to bake' when you are done - so its exactly what you played and not recalculated

this is cool. this would be great for cinematic work as well

exactly! I will do more demos soon - one thing that i want to try is something like this - lasers with userscripts and flying all the ships sequentially

This is so amazing! With the fly mode, are you able to map FPV Drone-like controls to it with a controller?

controller mapping is partly hardcoded - left stick movement, right stick look, shoulder triggers are up/down - and you can set these options for the controller. Can add some mapping options if needed!
