“It’s surreal before you get here, and when you get here, it’s like, I’m really here. I just want to do my best.” Meleek Thomas is showing out for the #Cavs at NBA Summer League with back-to-back 30-point games, but his commitment on the other end is standing out too.

Meleek Thomas may be inactive for this #Cavs Summer League game, but through the first three games, he's been nothing short of impressive. But for those who have seen Thomas' work and dedication in action for years, his showing out in Vegas is no surprise at all.

To try and explain what it’s like when you play Celtic and rangers: 75% of the time you are under pressure - when you win the ball the bias from the officials is often applied at that point to give them the ball back and the pressure is put back on you. Celtic get a Fk here.

Iman Shumpert on getting traded from the Knicks to play with LeBron James and the Cavaliers: “In New York, you felt like they love the Knicks in Cleveland. You knew you play with LeBron. I wish I could sugarcoat it. I can’t. It’s that simple. It’s not even a strict program because Bron, to his point, to give him credit to his point he made the other night, he is a 41 year old kid. They say you act exactly how you act when they handed you money. You could tell LeBron got paid at 17. It’s the reason that he that cold because he think like a child. Like, when you was 17, I’m sure you probably was like, it’s like before you get to college and they break you where it’s like that creative mindset where you like, but why coach? We could just do this. And it’s like the coach explain it to you and then you stop like even questioning the coach. You like, let me just go out here and do what I’m supposed to do, handle my business, make sure we win, and then boom, I want to climb up the ranks. I don’t want them looking at me like that. Bron went at 17 while he was still curious.” (Via Out The Mud Podcast)

🗣️ “I’m really happy here. It’s not long ago that I joined, and I’ve enjoyed every part of it so far. I want to score goals and help the team win games, and the goal for the club is to get back up and to do it in the best way possible." 📺 ⬇️ #CityAsOne

🍒 My umm… nose and jaw 🍒 When you look at them on their own I don’t think they’re ugly 🍒 But because I’m transgender, because I’m trying to look feminine, my chin is too pointy, and it’s very angular here 🍒 This is too angular, I want to get countouring surgery

‘Always You’ by BAEKHYUN x Illenium and William Black 🎵 Lyrics: We’re runnin out on maybe, we try it on the daily But it seems like our talks are not enough There’s something that we don’t see We’re both are made of lonely It’s like everybody’s fading out on us But it’s always you Who I run back for There’s no excuse We’ve been here before And nothing to lose So come make me whole And if it’s you I’ll come back for Always you It’s always you Always you, you It’s always you I come back for We keep on falling deeper It’s like we hit the ceiling Our words don’t ever land the way they should We’re running out of reasons But it’s you that I believe in Even when we’re barely holding on But it’s always you Who I run back for There’s no excuse We’ve been here before And nothing to lose So come make me whole I know it’s you Who I come back for I know it’s you, you, you Who I come back for It’s always you Who I come back for You, you It’s always you You, you It’s always you Who I come back for It’s always you #BAEKHYUN #백현 Baekhyun_EXO

Paul Pierce says LeBron James should really consider retirement after having a great season go down to injuries: “This is demoralizing. It really is like when you come in it’s the end of the season, you gearing up for a playoff run. And then you go down your two other two best players. It’s mentally draining. Like if I’m in that locker room, I’m like I’m looking around I got to do this myself at 41. It’s so draining on me mentally for him that I would really seriously contemplate retirement…. I can’t come back and go through this another year with the Lakers. That’s just mentally draining. It’s mentally draining on him, his mind and his body now. Now he’s going to be his last few games, he’s going to be playing all these minutes, then he’s going to be playing heavy minutes in the playoffs. It’s just, you know what? I’ve done enough for this league, guys.” (Via No Fouls Given)
