🚨Okay, that was a bit of a roller coaster. I can tell you that Trump made the Ukrainian administration very nervous. On Wednesday, the U.S. president randomly said (twice!) that he will meet Zelenskyy that evening in Davos. After that, the Ukrainian administration went completely radio silent and was unable to clarify the statement. I assume they were trying to figure out whether they needed to drop everything in Kyiv and fly to Davos immediately. Fortunately, Trump later responded to a follow-up question from the press and clarified that he would meet Zelenskyy in Davos not that day, but on Thursday, January 22. So far, Ukrainian officials haven’t shared details of Zelenskyy’s schedule, but it does appear that he will meet with President Trump in Davos this week. The key question surrounding this potential meeting is whether security guarantees between the U.S. and Ukraine—and the economic support and recovery package for Ukraine—will be signed during the summit, as previously announced. TRUMP -1 : "So I believe they're at a point now, I'm gonna meet with President Zelensky later today. I believe they're at a point now where they can come together and get a deal done. He could not believe that someone would get a service and then just leave without paying. I love how he refused to let her get away with it. I don’t know what the answer is here. Maybe pay before the service, or pay half before the service. I don’t know. I know this, I would not want to be a shop owner today having to deal with this nonsense all the time.
