These neighboring countries have a history of interfering in Somalia's affairs and promoting instability in the region. The ATMIS mission, which is meant to provide security and stability, may actually be a facade for further exploitation and manipulation of Somalia's resources. It is important for Somalia to closely monitor and address any potential ulterior motives behind the involvement of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Djibouti in Somalia.

We Are Coming, Ethiopian, Don't Sleep! Egypt and Somalia to Conduct Military Exercises Soon It seems that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has decided to make Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed experience what he had previously warned him about: "Do not test Egypt." Very soon, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will wake up to one of his worst nightmares—specifically, the sound of joint military exercises between Egypt and Somalia in the Horn of Africa, for the first time ever. This exercise appears to be a show of force. Confirming that Egypt has decided to bring the conflict closer to Ethiopia, which may find itself facing a new and uncomfortable reality, a report from security officials indicated that these drills, scheduled for this month, will involve ground, air, and naval forces. One official stated, "These exercises will send a clear and strong message about our unwavering commitment to cooperation and protecting Somalia." He added, "This will mean much more than just military exercises." Egypt, which has already sent weapons and military equipment to Somalia under a military cooperation agreement signed last month, also plans to join the new African Union peacekeeping force in Somalia. Now, Abiy Ahmed must prepare for what's coming, as this step simply means that he will be facing a historic display of Egyptian and Somali military power right in his own backyard. #Egypt #Somalia #Ethiopia #MilitaryDrills #HornOfAfrica #MilitaryCooperation #Peacekeeping #RegionalTensions
