i’ve always been curious how hand landmarks move together during gestures, so i built a real-time chord diagram that measures their cohesion. move the hand as a whole -> cohesion ~100%. wiggle fingers independently -> cohesion drops.

New robot hands just dropped! But it seems to be missing a couple fingers. Tacta Systems Tacta Systems is a Palo Alto robotics startup that just came out of stealth, and raised with $75M and a dexterity platform, TactaBot, aimed at high-value manufacturing. TactaBot has three parts: - the Tacta Hand -> a human-scale robotic hand with 15 independently actuated joints, proprietary "Fluidic Tendon" actuation, pitched as reliable for millions of factory cycles. - the Tacta Sensor -> a tiny tactile sensor reading force from 250 Pa to 700,000 Pa, sampling at 400 Hz, resolving temperature to 0.1 °C. - Skill Capture -> a data system built around the Tacta Glove. It contains the same sensor embedded in a glove that factory workers wear. Sounds similar to what mimic is doing! Except with 3 fingers instead of 5. Tacta's vision sees 3 fingers as more than enough to complete all tasks, and less complex to simulate than 5. My opinion: Tacta is very strong at semiconductor/MEMS, their moat lies in their ability to manufacture their touch sensor as large as a grain of sand, not the hand or the model. One caveat though: there is no detail nor explanation of how the 5 finger data acquisition glove maps to the 3 finger hand -> I would love to learn more about it! This is where the interesting part of the tech is imho. If this does not work, then nothing does. Still, I have to admit it looks very cool, slick, and minimal, I love it:

I’m genuinely curious if this type of “humor” is appealing to African-American voters. Former President Donald Trump at the Black Conservative Federation Gala: “Then I got indicted a second time and a third time and a fourth time. i built an open world minigame that's controlled with hand movements only here's a step-by-step tutorial: > started with my mediapipe + threejs template (see QT) > added a 3D model made by quaternius > sent a few prompts to gemini 3... --- prompt #1: repurpose the attached script, but now I want to import a gltf model (assets/model.gltf) and use that in the scene instead of the cube when the user moves their hand, a waypoint indicator should move around the scene, and the 3D model should smoothly move there when the user makes a fist, the model should jump the 3D model contains bundled animations in it. use the "idle", "run", and "jump" animations --- prompt #2: make this a procedural open world adventure. generate very simple procedural voxel terrain when the model gets near the edges of the screen, the camera should move, allowing the model to keep going in that direction --- prompt #3: add some floating glowing gems around the map that the user can collect --- i made some manual tweaks for styling and game feel, but that's the gist of it thanks for reading if you got all the way here full code is available at my link in bio

A year and a day ago, I lost a very special friend. What started through Make-A-Wish became a friendship I’ll always treasure. Daily, I would get a video or text from her and her friends…She brought so much joy into my life, and I miss hearing from her. I have yet to break the habit of waiting for a video from her. They truly made me smile. When I learned she wasn’t doing well, I got on a plane to Minnesota to be with her. She passed while I was in the air. Her family showed me a kindness I’ll never forget by letting me say goodbye. They also gave me her favorite blanket and the journal she kept about our time together. I still haven’t been able to read it. One day, I will. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about her. She reminded everyone around her how much light one person can bring into their day and their lives, no matter how short their time here. Missing you always. ❤️

Daniel Berger’s move is super unique. Really strong left hand grip, and a backswing that he’s been retooling recently. Mainly by making it shorter, to get him out of “excessive” back extension, which was causing him pain. A drill he does that helps: “As I’m taking the club away, I lift my left foot off the ground, then I press it back into the ground...that basically helps me get rid of the last few frames of my backswing. You can call it an overswing, and that gets rid of the excessive back extension that’s really the area that we saw was most prone to injury.”

i helped satisfy one of my coaching client's wives last month there's this one windows setting that's secretly holding back thousands of league players it's called enhance pointer precision sounds good right? sounds like it makes your cursor more accurate it does the opposite it adds mouse acceleration. your cursor moves different distances based on how fast you move your hand move slow: cursor barely moves move fast: cursor flies across the screen so your muscle memory is fucked. your brain can never build consistent patterns. you're trying to learn micro but your cursor is literally different every single time you move it it's like trying to learn piano but every key is in a different spot each day this client was silver 4. adc main. mechanics looked drunk. cursor flying everywhere. overshooting targets. kiting looked like a seizure told him to turn it off instantly his cursor is 1 to 1. hand moves an inch, cursor moves an inch. every time. consistent. predictable. smooth his hands and fingers finally learned what consistency feels like two weeks later he's gold 3. mechanics cleaner. skillshots landing. kiting smoother then i get a message "bro my wife told me to thank you" i said "for helping you climb?" he said "nah bro. the mouse precision thing. helped with more than league" took me a second. i don't just coach league i help wives finish Study the Saskio way

This is a question I think quite a lot of people are wondering about. Right now, I’m hiring students to handle the newer phones, post content, and create content every day. For the TikTok accounts that are already trusted, have been running for a long time, and have a high follower count, I automate them using my own internal tools. Currently, I only handle the first steps myself: buying new phones → warming them up → making the first posts. After that, I hand the phones over to the students I hire to continue creating and posting content. Then, once I feel the accounts are strong enough, I move them into automation. And right now, I’m traveling with my family in Da Nang. This time I’m here with my family and want to spend all my time with them, so I won’t be meeting anyone while I’m here. 🏝️ I always aim to build everything in an automated way, or avoid doing things I don’t enjoy by hiring people to handle them for me.😌

Is there any real "due diligence" done by the 🅰️people? All of their points seem empty, vague, and very handwavy, at least that's the feeling I get. It seems to be confirmed when it comes down to the facts, they try to apply that same vague speculatory mindset they use regarding Starlink, arriving at a conclusion that always seems to be wrong. How many guesses have been propagated as truth? How many small differences have been exaggerated so large that they become the very core of their position? Probably a lot, because the trend I see is to take a kernel of truth and cover it with heavy layers of lies and speculation. I like what ASTS is doing, but the community makes it pretty hard to know what's actually significant, and the truth is, it's pretty hard to tell until both constellations are built and delivering data to customers. The issue is that most of them likely have a huge amount of money riding on the company, so they'll take anything and go with it solely for the comfort factor.
