People often talk about in-groups and out-groups—how we’re cruel to outsiders, how we dehumanize those who are different from us. But I’ve always found it more interesting how communism got people to murder others who were similar to themselves. We spend a lot of time on the horrors of racism and ethnic hatred. That makes intuitive sense: people tend to favor those who are similar to them. What’s less intuitive—and more revealing—is how someone like Pol Pot, a Cambodian, got other Cambodians to slaughter millions of their own. Same with Stalin. Same with Mao. Most of the victims weren’t foreigners or minorities. They looked like you, spoke your language, ate the same food, practiced the same religion. They could’ve been your brother or neighbor. And still—mass murder. People seem oddly uncurious about how exactly this happened. It’s terrible when people hate those who are different. But the deadliest ideology in history involved killing people identical to yourself. It was framed in high-minded terms—class struggle, rich versus poor, capitalists versus workers. But in reality, it was just people killing slightly better-off peasants, educated people killing other educated people. Pol Pot, educated in Paris, ordered the execution of people with the same background as his own.

Just a kid off an estate who fought through the hard days to get here. I still have my moments, still get stressed, still have the bad days — but the good outweighs it all. Proud of how far I’ve come. I’m the type of guy who will always be humble and will always want others to do well, il never hate, its all love from my side ❤️ Funny how some people hate on success just because they can’t get it themselves. Your time will come, but trust me… you’ll never win if you’re not a good person first 👍🏾

At first glance, you might think people always want to show off—to brag about their accomplishments so that others will like and respect them. no matter how often i listen to junkyu's voice, it still gives me chills for how beautiful it is. it's the way how he's able to convey different emotions and feel every notes for different songs is so admiring. it's why the song he sings always have the element of surprise everytime— they always sound different despite it's the same voice we listen to. not only he has a golden voice, he also has a voice that speaks to the soul. kim junkyu, you're truly one of a kind 🩷

TODAY is my 3 year anniversary collaborating with the UFC WOW! Thank you guys for supporting my content and allowing me to pursue my dreams! Getting to work with my favorite fighters doesn’t even seem like work. My goal was always to showcase a different side to fighters through comedy and show their real personality… hopefully I’ve shown that they are not stone cold killas.
