Went to the tower that has the highest point in the map in NTE thinking there would be some sort of loading screen. Nope. Just hop in the elevator. Had a person or two pop into chat and ask if this was a "gacha slop" game and I really do get the sentiment to a degree but I have to admit I have a lot of fun in these games. We have moved far beyond these games even needing to be labeled as "gacha". I get that due to their monetization model they are viewed as automatically "inferior" and I don't want to defend them but I see stuff like this and can't help but get excited. Plus NTE doesn't have the god awful 50/50 system which I abhor. I played it like 7 hours today. I REALLY like it. It's a good video game.

When I was coding the behavior of the drones in the Erra: Exordium, drones exploding outside my window in reality. I wanted to add a lot to the game, but I was afraid that if I died tomorrow, the world would never see this game. So, I had to abandon some plot parts, some scenes, characters, animations, a lot of things..., a third of the game was never released. I really regret it, but our reality and our world are a madhouse. I'm currently working on a game that's completely different. I want to create a little world of peace, energy, mystery, and puzzles. I hope I can do that, because the world has become even more idiotic.

I used Cursor to vibe code a simple fishing game prototype on the Unity Engine. Here's my learnings: - I did not use any Unity MCP for this. The game was built entirely by Cursor models (Sonnet 4.6 for execution and Opus 4.6 for planning) - The model was able to set up the game, getting the basic game mechanics working fairly quickly - I had to use the Unity Game Editor UI to attach components to the in-game objects manually, but it was quite easy to follow the instructions given by the Cursor model - Unity Editor is huge and slow! Compared to Godot, I find the UI really clunky I feel tired looking at it - Unity Assets Marketplace is amazing, there are so many amazing art assets there (like the ones I am using for this game). This is probably the biggest strength of Unity. - I had some issues with restoring checkpoints, probably because of how Unity Game Editor UI being really clunky and I had to manually adjust things in the Editor, which the model doesnt have knowledge of Overall, the results turn out pretty decent, but it was a rather frustrating experience, especially when I had to debug issues or rollback changes. I'll explore more vibe coding on Unity but for now, I think I prefer Godot as a game engine. I just wish there is a Godot Asset Marketplace!

I'm playing GTA V on a PS3 and its been such a fun experience. I remember when was a kid and playing this for the first time, I didn't give a damn about how BAD the framerate was during driving. I was constantly in awe by how realistic this game looked back then that the framerate wasn't something that was going to stop me from enjoying it. Don't get me wrong, this game is running on a PS3 that has 256mb of RAM and 256mb of VRAM which is some black magic itself and the fact that Rockstar Games managed to have such a massive open world game with that much traffic and NPCs running in real-time is a feat on its own.

It’s continued again today as he shot a 6 under par 64 to climb to T14 at the Travelers Championship. After the round, he spoke about how important it’s been to be able to play all the Signature Events: “I think there was probably a handful of people that had a problem with it, me not being one of them. “Yeah, it's been amazing. It's a weird one because it's a great opportunity for you to get a lot of points and move up FedEx Cup rankings, but at the same time, if you don't play very well, you don't get many points. So you still have really got to play well in order to move up the ranking system. “It's been nice that I've played well on the right weeks and moved myself up and given myself a chance at hopefully trying to get inside the top 30 at the end of the year.” He also spoke about whether his play, which has seen him finish T9, 4 and T6 in the 3 Signature Events so far has been validating for him: “Yeah, definitely. I really feel -- you know, I feel so comfortable out here now. I felt very comfortable very quickly, and I think that was part of how nice people were to me and how well I was treated. “Coming out here and winning is, I guess, respected by your peers, and I think that was super cool to have. “So I think, yeah, my long game especially feels great, and tee to green I feel I'm as good as anyone when I'm really good.
