Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

The Straight Pipes (1.8M YouTube subs) reviewed the new Tesla Model Y Performance, and they spent most of the time talking about how good FSD (Supervised) V14 is lol. "It slowed for a bird! BREAKING: Tesla self-driving finally passed The Dawn Project's school bus test! On 50 out of 50 test runs, FSD 14.3.2 correctly stopped for the stopped school bus. After three years of campaigning, New York Times ads and Super Bowl commercials, Tesla has finally done the right thing and fixed this egregious safety defect. However, HW3 Teslas running FSD v 12.6.4 will still illegally blow past the stopped school bus and run down a child crossing the road. Elon Musk, if the defects can't be fixed on the current hardware, FSD should be disabled until those vehicles have been upgraded. Ashok Elluswamy, your next task is to stop FSD 14 from speeding in school zones.

This Tesla FSD 13.2.2 FSD drive in the Financial District & "city" highways in Manhattan is the most challenging drive I have ever recorded or seen online. Watch as Full Self Driving navigates for over 2 hours (condensed to 45 min) in the most complex parts of New York City. I was exhausted by the end as FSD dealt with difficult situation after situation. This version is absolutely better than 13.2.1 and significantly better than any v12 version. It is pure magic as Elon said and the GPUs definitely "went brrrr" for this one Tesla AI Let me know what you favorite part is! There is a lot to unpack with this one. Enjoy. The idea that Tesla is alone in the race to develop end-to-end vision system for self-driving and delivering into consumer vehicles is officially dead. Like dead, dead. I tested Xpeng's VLA 2.0 in the streets of Beijing, and it is comparable to my experience of daily driving Tesla FSD v14. Xpeng is not charging $100 a month to drive this. It is inlcuded in its higher-trim vehicles and it already caught the attention of Volkswagen, which is going to integrate into its own vehicles - something Tesla hasn't been able to do despite trying. I just had one of the best experiences ever on Tesla FSD today, and it was with V14 Lite (HW3). It drove me through incredible country roads, stop-and-go traffic, city driving, etc, with zero interventions. Two hours total of driving. Pretty insane how my 5 year old Tesla can now do this with just a single software update. I am honestly so impressed with V14 Lite.
