How about we men start by saying no man is allowed to sleep with a woman that he hasnt paid lobola for will that not help prevent us getting married to women that have slept with a 100 men? Do you know how many men brag about having slept with a lot of virgins ?

That is also an error that needs to be addressed. Defending an error when it is addressed is just ridiculous. We can't be out here acting like it is wrong to question the system of high ridiculous amount of lobola in our modern days.

The big issue here is lobola in our modern days where it is rare to find a virgin. I think he was making an example. One might not be aware or find out how many men his woman slept with, but if she ain't a virgin then she has a body count. Now the question is why a 2nd man pay?

People simply dont understand the concept of lobola its not even about money its about uniting the families.its about informing and uniting the ancestors .

The problem is when ridiculous amount of money is demanded, then we have way past the ancestors' uniting thing.
