I've been testing out adding greenscreen footage into Unreal, but compressing it to look like it's a 90s FMV game

Above is all 30fps, but here's how it looks at 24fps with 12fps animation! Not sure which one I prefer.

This kinda reminds me of the characters in Obduction (2016) really cool way of implementing real world footage into 3D worlds.

Looks utterly hysterical in the best way! Keep up the great work! Is there a way to mimic the color compression and dithering of FMV graphics? Because I think that would really sell the 90s look!

Maybe could use a bit of color and spatial compression (like so-so jpeg quality) and “bad keying” green screen fringing, plus a bitcrush filter on the audio (hissy sibilants)… but other than that I think you’ve got it nailed!
