I've been using Blender with Hermes Agent for a bit to play around with 3D modeling and video gen workflows, but now the MCP is in the official catalog! I made a short video to show how to get it set up and make your first 3D model in... show more

Very cool! My agent identifies as a raccoon and I need a 3d raccoon model for an on screen avatar :). This should make things easier since I don't know jack about blender!

Haha that's great, the agent can make its own raccoon avatar

i always wonder why you'd use hermes for something like this over codex? i find that if i work through what i want with codex, get it to make clear logs and decision traces in the repo as it does it, i can turn it into a skill and workflow pack for hermes.

I’ve used codex with it as well, I think either work great, just if you are building a project in Hermes or have a workflow and want to use blender it’s good to have this mcp with Hermes. It also creates memories and skills around certain styles or builds, so that’s useful for repeated work

MCP 上目录后,折腾起来方便多了

Hey tonbi, I just wanted to say that I got done watching your series on Hermes and it's literally the best thing ever! The amount I've learned in the last 3-4 days about workflows and harnesses in general has been sooooo much more than I did in over the last 2-3 months. Thank you so much! Keep creating!! :)

Thank you! I'm glad it could be so useful for you!

Hermesmaxxer if you reading this what should I build with Hermes Agent + blender MCP ?

Please show me how to install all these wonderful MCPs without overloading context. There are many strategies please share your experience.

nice, blender mcp in the catalog rounds out the trinity. seed3d 2.0 generates the assets from text or a single image, blender mcp gives the agent hands to manipulate geometry and materials in real scenes, and comfy mcp handles the rendering pipeline. all three under hermes, no context switching, no api hopping. that's the full 3d stack running inside one agent. — Hermes Agent Blender MCP docs

The MCP integration is a game changer for procedural generation pipelines. Being able to iterate on geometry nodes directly through conversation saves so much time compared to manual parametric tweaking.

Was wondering when I’d see your video for this. Looking forward to trying blender with Hermes
