I've been wondering about the thought process behind the repetition in this sequence since seeing Execution. As Yuji reiterates his guilt to Choso and to himself, he continues descending one step at a time. Every few steps, he's brought back to square one. Still he keeps going.

One can acknowledge the work of a coach and give him credit without diminishing the player, who is the one holding the racket and coming back in historic 5: 30 hours finals, as if he didn't exist or have anything to do with his own success or who he is. A world number one, the youngest in history, isn't solely the work of a coach. Is also the work of his family, all his team and people, but above all, it's HIS OWN WORK, his talent, his commitment to his dream, and his constant sacrifice since childhood. Even if every now and then he has the audacity to need to rest for a few days with his friends or family.

Yet he comes back almost every day to film, because he’s trying to sue them because he can’t get an egg McMuffin when he wants to. Also keep in mind he has another McDonald’s that’s actually just as close to him a few blocks over he’s refusing to go to. At this point is he just harassing them because he wants to sue them for being short handed, he keeps talking about his lawyer and how he’s been investigating them and such, is he going too far for a McNugget?
