I’ve been working on a small #Blender tool called BoneGuide. It’s for one of those very familiar rigging annoyances: creating a bone chain that is actually planar, properly oriented and easy to adjust. Standard tools often fail, so I made my own. #b3d #rigtip Teaser below 👇

Weight painting lips and eyelids has always been a major pain when it comes to character rigging, so our co-founder Vladimir Mokhov spent a couple of weeks and made a tool to automate the entire thing. 🔶 This will be included as part of a toolkit for our upcoming Ultimate Character Rigging course (in Blender) at TOAnimate 4️⃣ The tool uses 4 points on a loop (corners and upper/lower mid points) and breaks it into quadrants, then distributes weights evenly along the points within the quadrants based on the step count, calculating distance between the points. This makes sure that every point is weighted identically and consistently. The weight generation/distribution is done through geometry nodes, and the rest is with python scripting. 🦊 Hi, everyone. It’s Yeonjun! Today is finally the day I’ve officially become an idol as a member of TXT after my trainee days!! 🦊 It’s such a happy and meaningful day for me. Honestly, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a really long time 🦊 I started training and dancing when I was in my third year of middle school and since then, I’ve been growing my dream of becoming a singer. I’ve just been running towards it and before I knew it, five years had passed! 🦊 And today, I finally made that dream come true! It’s a moment I’ve wanted so badly, one I’ve really been waiting for 🦊 Earlier while filming, I was watching the broadcast and memories of practicing, working hard with the members, and going through evaluations all just started flooding back 🦊 They all passed through my mind like frames in a film and I kept getting choked up here and there 🦊 In the end, I couldn’t hold it in and ended up crying. Today was such an emotional and joyful day for me. 🦊 “tell us if you’re going through a hard time” okay 🦊 i’ll be honest, it’s been tough these days 🦊 i’ve been going through a very hard time since ‘no labels: part 01’ ended and from the award show season till now…it’s been hard throughout and i also experienced burn out in the middle 🦊 i have a lot on my mind these days but i can’t seem to organize my thoughts 🦊 so i’ve been talking to a lot of people and having conversations with people, trying to organize my thoughts 🦊 i’ve been facing sides of myself that i had been avoiding and that i hadn’t been looking at 🦊 i think i’m getting healthy and recovering in my own cool way 🦊 i know that this pain right now is really meaningful and in a way, it’s a positive kind of pain so i think it’s good 🦊 if i can, i’d like to tell you in detail someday but that’s what’s been on my mind 🦊 but don’t worry, i’ll tell you when i’m going through a hard time 🦊 i’ve been trying to do that, i think i was really suppressing myself so i’ve been trying to open myself up and let go…that’s the way i’ve been trying to live these days
