Amen for speaking the gospel of the mess that is the CFB Playoff system and who is at fault! Bama is not much better this yr vs last yr and they were ‘handed a free spot’ in the playoffs.

Few things: 1) BAMA didn’t get screwed last year (I’m a BAMA fan) 2) you quote “it’s the rules” defending JMU and Tulane, and then turn around and say it’s a flawed system. 3) BAMA did slide, BUT they were the regular season winner of the SEC. 4) System is flawed

The Committee had “rabbit ears”’and believed that they had jobbed Bama last season. That’s the point!

So you know what they were thinking? Bottom line, you CANNOT leave out the SEC regular season winner, and ND needs to join a conference.

CORRECT SIR…. It’s the CFP Committee for not using the same criteria to judge all conferences (power & group) … ACC using tie breakers for a divisional format that no longer exists. Teams like Tulane or JMU (even Duke) will crash the playoff party here and there.. but there isn’t a consistent set of criteria for all. 100% there’s an SEC bias.. it’s sad
