I’ve never really used Apple Shortcuts on Mac because triggering them never felt natural enough in my workflow. So I built a free app that lets you launch Apple Shortcuts, apps and websites on your Mac with a quick tap on the device that’s probably sitting next to you...

You’re not wrong! The touch interface gave us a lot of room to play with new ideas like gesture control or App Time Travel (which lets you switch between your recently opened apps in a cool timeline view)

Excellent idea! Curious to know how much of the coding you sent off to AI Agents? You could always "just build that" in the past but the speed at which I'm seeing cool new OS apps appear is outstanding!

Hi Phil Traut, congrats on launching RingDisk on Product Hunt! I help makers get more visibility during launch day through targeted community promotion and social sharing. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to share a quick plan for boosting awareness around RingDisk today.

choclift just got even sweeter for Apple Vision Pro. You can now launch Apple Shortcuts with a tap, instantly reopen recent Mac apps with App Time Travel, and access your favorite apps, websites, and emojis even faster.

I built a free iPhone app that lets you add emojis while typing on your Mac. It’s the cherry on top of switching between apps, launching Apple Shortcuts, and opening websites, and it makes using my Mac so much more fun. This took a lot of hard work to get just right, but I’m so happy with how it turned out.

I just built a giant chocolate (touch) bar for your Mac…that runs on your iPad. Open your recent and favorite apps with a tap. Dismiss or maximize them with a swipe. Open websites, trigger Apple Shortcuts, copy & paste with another swipe and send emojis while you type. Enter choclift for iPad. Available for free on the App Store now.

I just launched a free App that lets you open Mac Apps…from your iPhone. And close them with a swipe. A much faster drag and drop. And a ton of more features in the pipeline. It’s called choclift and you really should try it out. Available for free in the App Store for iOS and macOS.

Using gestures on your iPhone to copy, paste, and control apps on your Mac is pure ecosystem magic. My free app lets you switch between your favorite Mac apps with just a touch, minimize and maximize them with a swipe, and even use a grab-and-throw gesture to copy and paste. choclift is now available with a big update on the App Store for iOS and macOS.

A sweet new app called Choclift is now available for Apple Vision Pro. It connects to your Mac and places your favorite apps on a floating chocolate bar in your space. Tap to open. Swipe to minimize. Pin it to your desk.

I’ve created a way to use your iPhone to travel through time and apps on your Mac. It features a liquid glass timeline that lets you jump between recently opened apps on your Mac and updates in real-time. You can even pin apps to the front of the timeline to create the perfect app launcher combination for your current workflow.

My new Vision Pro app lets you switch between apps on your Mac… just by touching your desk. Bringing choclift to visionOS changed how I think about using a Mac in spatial computing. It’s not just about having a massive display – it opens up entirely new productivity workflows. Best part: if you lock it to your desk, it’s always there when you use Mac Virtual Display – even after restarting the device.

You can now pin a dock of your recently opened Mac apps right on your desk and switch between them with a single tap when using Mac Virtual Display on Vision Pro. It updates automatically so you always have a direct shortcut to the apps you’re currently working with. You can even pin your favourites to the front of the line to create your perfect setup. It‘s called App Time Travel, and it's one of the headline features in the big new choclift for Vision Pro update, available today.

My Mac battery app Juicy is LIVE on Product Hunt today! 😻 I made Juicy because every other battery app felt ugly and outdated. I wanted beautiful custom battery alerts at any %, so I quickly built v1 and shipped it. People seemed to like my little app way more than I thought. Fast forward to today: Apple has featured it twice as "Apps We Love" and the review rating is nearly 100% positive. Someone even called it "the battery app Apple should've built" 🫢 With version 1.5 Juicy has now become (I'm biased) the most modern and powerful battery app for Mac. Juicy comes with custom battery notifications, historic health tracking for Mac and all connected devices, per-app energy insights, charging limits, and more. If you have a second, I'd appreciate your support on Product Hunt 🙏 Link in the comment below.

Today I’m launching S3 Files, a client for S3 compatible storage inside the Files app, share sheet, shortcuts and the Finder on Mac. Technical apps like mine struggle on the App Store. Please tell your S3 loving friends about it.

Introducing Rork Companion Mac app Until now, if you wanted to build  apps with Swift, you had to install 30GB of Xcode, struggle with certificates, TestFlight, and pay $120 to test on your iPhone Rork Companion solves all of it with a Mac app that can install up to 3 iOS apps on your phone, no $99 Apple Developer account needed P.S. You still need an Apple Developer account to publish to the App Store

Idk why people keep binding keyboard shortcuts just to open Mac apps. You know you can just... rename the app right? 💡

Apple has officially launched the "Apple Upgrade" program: "Introducing Apple Upgrade, a new way to always have the Apple products you love. Lease a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch with pocket-friendly payments and terms that work for you. Then easily upgrade to something new at the end of your lease, and return your current device. It’s that simple."

Introduce my new small, funny, but very useful app for your MacBook 🥳 👉 You have shortcuts, gestures, and now (Short)tap. Choose from 50+ built-in actions: screenshot, copy/paste, next track, quick note, window controls, lock screen, open URLs and apps, check weather, battery, and more… or run an Apple Shortcut with a single tap. Tap the left or right side of your MacBook once, twice, or three times to instantly trigger your favorite actions. 😍
