Many forget or are unaware that The #Beatles (Lennon and McCartney in particular) were not, pre 1964, prolific song writers .... They were however in Liverpool and Hamburg considered in their live set to be the best covers band around. And this is demonstrated very well here.

I'm still surprised they didn't release their version of "Shout" as a single. It still would have cracked Top 40 at least. The energy that track has is still better than some of the covers done of that song.
