FSD v14 lite drives me from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with zero human intervention. No other car on the road you can buy could do this today besides a Tesla. FSD handled all 5 hours of driving including parking, unparking, and charging. I never touched the steering wheel.

In his first attempt 13 months ago, he had something like 21 disengagements, and various system failures, GPS errors, and red hands of death. This time? The latest FSD version (14.2.2.3) was a "total game changer." "We went from a dozen disengagements and technical issues to zero in one software update. It's incredible. And it's incredible to me that anyone who's been in a Tesla has not used the latest version of FSD."

I have now passed 6,000 consecutive miles of non rounded up actual true 100% intervention free FSD 14.2 driving in my 2025 Model 3 Premium Longe Range RWD This journey has taken me to 17 states starting from Raleigh, NC to now currently I’m in Ashland, OR with 59 Tesla Supercharger stops along the way. How long do you think I can keep this streak going!??

The idea that Tesla is alone in the race to develop end-to-end vision system for self-driving and delivering into consumer vehicles is officially dead. Like dead, dead. I tested Xpeng's VLA 2.0 in the streets of Beijing, and it is comparable to my experience of daily driving Tesla FSD v14. Xpeng is not charging $100 a month to drive this. It is inlcuded in its higher-trim vehicles and it already caught the attention of Volkswagen, which is going to integrate into its own vehicles - something Tesla hasn't been able to do despite trying. In the situations where we experienced the system, it worked perfectly and safely. I hadn't expected that. Even in the bad weather conditions in the Eifel region. In many cases, it reacted at least as well as a human driver, if not better. If Tesla is ever allowed to roll out this system nationwide in Germany, I think it will have a major impact on mobility. I genuinely feel bad for anyone who hasn’t experienced Tesla FSD yet… Bc once you do, road trips are never the same. Instead of spending every second of a long drive focused on the repetitive parts of driving, I can actually take in the world around me. It’s completely changed the way I experience the journey. Tesla FSD is truly a steal at $99 per month, this technology is priceless.

First real pucker moment on FSD 14.3.3 during our Canadian coast to coast autonomous drive 👀 An automated construction stop sign was in the upright position and FSD read it as an actual stop sign, so the car stopped. Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

As a Brit, we don't have Tesla FSD (Full Self Driving) yet. So as part of the family holiday, I hired a Cybertruck for 3 weeks to do a bit of a California road trip to see if FSD really is as good as some of the YouTube videos I've seen. We've done over 1000 miles in it so far and WOW... Put some rough clips together to show our Day 1 using it etc. No exaggeration, it drove from Venice Beach in LA all the way to Monterey via Big Sur and then to Lake Tahoe with zero interventions. And loads of little trips as well. It's just incredible. I really cannot wait for FSD to be allowed in the UK. The moment it is likely, I'm buying a brand new Tesla just for FSD. It's really THAT good...

He added that Li Auto’s autonomous driving team is aiming to reach that level. The interviewer, an industry insider, offered an even more blunt assessment of FSD compared with competing systems in China: “We’ve consistently acknowledged Tesla FSD as the benchmark. What I do want to criticize is the constant claim from some people that they’ve already surpassed Tesla, when in reality the gap is still enormous. The only reason they dare say that is because Tesla FSD hasn’t fully entered the Chinese market yet. Once it truly rolls out, they’ll be completely exposed. It’ll be like ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ being stripped away in public.”

The NHTSA made Tesla do the full-stop thing in 2022 and it's just annoying, especially when driving through a neighborhood with tons of stop signs.
