Wild animals didn’t come onto our roads. We built roads through their homes. Now, on the Shamli–Dehradun Expressway, their broken bodies are being counted as the cost of “development”, deer, dogs, foxes, hyenas… lives lost for our speed and convenience. Wild animals are not trespassers. They belong here. We are the ones who entered their space, damaged it, and called it growth.

VICTORY: The House just voted to save the lives of countless innocent dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs in taxpayer-funded labs. We helped introduce Violet’s Law, and this amendment had our full support. It was just included in the Farm Bill, thanks to bipartisan leadership from Reps. Nancy Mace and Dina Titus. This bill is named after a hound dog who we rescued from a government lab. Listen to Rep. The country that was fought for by the sons and daughters of the soil , some were maimed, some killed by the colonialists in the bushes , and their bodies were left to be eaten by the wild animals, today they are represented by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the National Shrine. In Noida, And Delhi Mayur Vihar, Khadar & Pusta roads—hundreds of animals were trapped when the floods arrived. Many lives were at risk, but countless people came together, rescuing them and ensuring their safety. This is India. This is the spirit of India. In the darkest calamities, we stand united, leaving no one behind not humans, not animals. Food is reaching them, and we are sending meals for 500 dogs affected by the floods. We have also adopted a shelter home that was in the flood plain area, so no animal is left uncared for. A heartfelt thank you to Noida authorities, NDRF, and every team & stakeholder. And above all, gratitude to the selfless volunteers who risk their health and lives, stepping into muddy waters, lifting animals on their laps, and carrying them to safety. 🫂💚I'm Walid and I love animals, especially #cats.🐈 Before this war, I spent years caring for stray cats in Gaza. I built a shelter for them and took sick cats to the vet. But about a year ago, when the bombs fell, my shelter was partly destroyed, and so many of the cats I cared for were killed. It broke my heart. Now, I’m doing what I can to help the cats who survived this war so far. Some are strays, but as the war continues, more and more are pets who lost their humans, their homes and safety. They roam the streets of North Gaza, hungry and scared, just like so many of us people. I’m also trying to rebuild what’s left of my shelter for the cats who did survive the bombing, but it’s not easy. I need food for the cats in my care and for the ones still out there. During the ceasefire, my friends and I ran the Cruelty-Free Kitchen. We served warm meals to thousands of families. During the ceasefire my friends and I started helping eight families who are living in tents, with no proper shelter or clean water. We also distribute water in our neighbourhood. Every day is a struggle, but we do what we can to share what little we have. Life in 💔#Gaza🇵🇸 is unimaginably hard, but I haven’t given up. I believe there are kind-hearted people out there who can help—people who care about animals and people, just like me and my friends. Like all animals, pigs want nothing more than to be free to live their lives in peace. They are loving, special, and intelligent creatures that have been known to possess intellect that surpasses that of dogs and human toddlers. Supporters of Animal Rising and Manchester Pig Save attended the final vigil at the closing of Pilgrim’s Pride slaughterhouse in Manchester. After seven years of regular vigils, Manchesterpigsave held their final vigil to remember the 10 million+ pigs that were slaughtered in gas chambers for human consumption. Thank you to everyone who has attended a vigil and given love and comfort to these pigs in their last moments. In the words of Manchester Pig Save co-founder, Andrew, ‘We have won this battle, but there is more injustice to stop! We will never quit until all animals are free from exploitation’. Israel killed Rahma, a Sri Lankan foreign worker, in an airstrike on Habboush in South Lebanon after she chose to remain behind to care for abandoned animals. In a previous voice message, she explained: "I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid for the animals." ￭ "I hope Israel strikes me and my animals. If we are killed, then let it be together. There are animals that look at you, and there are animals who look past your physical self and manage to probe the deep recesses of your frail human consciousness. This Dalmatian pelican is definitely the latter. There is something primal in the bird and myself that creates a cautious uncertainty coupled with a childlike curiosity. A shared state of being. This bird seems to ask, “Who are you?” But it isn’t interested in my human name. It seems to be a much deeper, “Who are you?” A question I often ask myself, but when this massive bird asks it feels otherworldly and I don’t know how to answer and then I realize there is no answer and the bird understands this too.

Animals, dogs especially, are loved in the West and many other places for their loyalty, companionship, intelligence, and most importantly, their unconditional love. There is good reason why some people have more respect for their pet than for the average human. And yes, there are also garbage human beings who treat animals with complete disrespect. Any true animal lover will tell you exactly what they think should be done to people like that. No ideology will ever be allowed to dictate where we can bring our animals or tell us we shouldn’t be allowed to have them as part of our family. Their beliefs do not trump the bond we share, and no one will ever tell us we cannot stand by the creatures who trust us and often give more meaning and purpose to life than some humans do.
