I've wanted miniscript on SeedSigner for years. Rob Hamilton 🟥 opened a Git Issue three years ago. It sat there. So this week I built it. A SeedSigner fork with miniscript support, plus a SeedSigner x Liana bridge so the whole flow runs over QR. No cables, no USB,... completely airgapped. Here's a timelocked inheritance wallet, created in Liana Wallet, descriptor registered and PSBT signed on a SeedSigner. Bridge tool: signet-only, not audited. @SeedSigner @Rob1Ham @sesi_the_man @KeithMukai @pythcoiner great work! i've been testing miniscript multisigs on liana and nunchuk, and it's really promising tech for better recovery and inheritance. now i can test adding a recovery path key to my setup while keeping my multivendor quorum.

Thanks Ivy! Totally agree Liana wallet is incredible, and I highly recommend it! On the topic of multisig, there is also a new very innovative option using FROST multisig from @FrostsnapTech, not sure if you heard of them and saw their product. Also incredible team behind the product, here is a demo review I made recently;

@SeedSigner @Rob1Ham @sesi_the_man @KeithMukai @pythcoiner A bridge that was used in #krux some time before during impl. Also afaik ss boys have being working on miniscript (but need to verify) no? Take care with qrcodes (because is airgap dont means bug-free)

To my know knowledge there hasn't been much work done on miniscript from the ss maintaners, but i hope with my PR, progress will be done. And I totally understand that there could be plenty of bugs that need to be patched, that's why i linked all the repo's and PR in the first comment, to get as many eyes to test, review and suggest ways to improve on it.

wow, it is awesome to see the miniscript policy displayed on the seedsigner screen🤯!! (It seems that the flow would be much smoother out by getting Liana itself to read in the (amended xpub qr), show the PSBT QR and then read the signed PSBT!) Thats an awesome POC with SeedSigner! &I have wanted to try Liana for months !! Thanks for doing this GG!

My pleasure! Liana is an incredible wallet I highly recommend it. Yes I totally agree that PSBT QR singing would make the flow much smoother. But I am sure it's only a matter of time until @KLoaec add's this feature to Liana. Also not sure if you saw but @btcqna recently forked Liana, and add the QR code signing compatibility.

Decaying multisig is a very solid fit for solo users, you get real multisig protection day-to-day and a clean recovery path without needing to trust or coordinate with another person. Inheritance on top of that is basically free if you already have the template set up. Krux works as a miniscript signer but the UX is a bit rough around the edges for complex miniscript policies.

I don't want to buy a ledger though (closed source) and with the recent coldcard fiasco, that kinda left me with jade, bitbox and krux as 3 reasonable signers to use today...
