When did Australia become too woke to accept our Christian heritage? And when did we become too afraid to pray to God for fear of offending some minority group that we have welcomed into our country?

I grew up in Auburn and went to school near Bankstown, so I had a very negative view of religion. Now I’m resting in Thailand, which is obviously Buddhist but quite a spiritual place. It is normal to see monks and people praying here. I have been able to return to the Bible with a fresh perspective. I have read the whole New Testament and thus far parts of the Old Testament (KJV). The cartoon version of scripture you get at school or at an Aussie church is pathetic compared to reading it by myself. Diluting the Christian element of our culture, and diluting Christianity, has been a mistake.
